Good breakfast and good location. Close to major dinning and night entertainment streets. Beautiful swimming pool. Very convenient and cheap laundry service just outside the hotel. Toktoks ready at the door to move you around all the time.

I particularly loved the pool area – a serene oasis perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the temples of Angkor Wat. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a delightful variety of fresh, local, and international dishes that catered to all tastes. What truly set the Koulen Hotel apart was the staff’s genuine kindness and commitment to making my stay memorable. Whether it was offering local tips, arranging transportation, or simply greeting me with a smile every day, their hospitality made this stay unforgettable. The facility is so sweet, covered by a big banyan-like tree, with a swimming to dip in in the middle of hot day walking about town. The staff is unpretentious and super friendly, who would go out of their ways to help.

One of the best places we stayed in Western Asia had a nice restaurant and bar where you could enjoy a river view. You could rent bicycles, motorbikes, and also take a kayak tour to see the dolphins.
