In a prime location in Nashville, Placemakr Premier SoBro offers air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. Each staff member we interacted with was extremely wonderful and helpful. We arrived before our room was available and they took our bags and stored them safely for the time being. We were even able to use the locker room to get ready for an afternoon out instead of having to sit around waiting. The kitchen, fridge, space in the main living area was great. LOVED having a balcony just to get some fresh air out on, have a morning coffee. SO close to broadway but not too close. Perfect couple minutes of walking and nearby some great restaurants.

The Chelsea has a lot to live up to, considering its reputation over the past 50 or so years, not to mention the 90 before that, and it pretty much met or even exceeded expectations. They're doing a great job with the ongoing restoration and the rooms are comfortable but retain the feel of a grand old hotel. Service is helpful and friendly, views from the front rooms excellent (but the roof isn't accessible while they complete work on a top floor or roof-top gym), and the solarium at the back of the bar delightful (but expensive). Great location and a very real New York experience.
