Tulsi was also extremely helpful organising my trip to Kathmandu Valley (Nagarkot) from the hotel, ensuring I had a safe and enjoyable trip to Nepal! The location of the hotel is also brilliant, situated in a quiet and clean area where there is less car traffic, but also a 5 min walk from Thamel's bustling streets. The breakfast buffet in the morning had great options, ranging from Indian style, Nepali style and also American style breakfast options - the options were tasty and a great start to the day!

Conveniently set in the centre of Kathmandu, Devo Boutique Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. It is dificult to summarize a proper praise to this hotel. Been in Nepal for almost three months, in over 10 hotels, some of them really good. I mean: really. But none compare to this one. I came here for 2 days, to see if I felt comfortable for a convelescence period (after a leg injury in the mountains), or had to move somewhere else ("better" and way more expensive) as I would be 24/7 in the room/facilities. Those 2 days were more than enough to realize how lucky I'd been finding this place: right center of Thamel, but in an inner street with no noise; nice and very clean rooms with super comfortable bed; big modern bathroom; top breakfast, buffet style, with both variety and quality (something rare); and most importantly, amazing staff (security, cleaners, reception, waiters...all of it), willing to help beyond the extra mile. You can easily see the hand of Ishan, the exceptional manager, that makes this 3 star hotel a 5 star hotel experience -- the humble oppinion of a very frequent traveller and guest in hundreds of hotels and apartments. Needless to say that I extended my stay to over 8 days, and can't wait to come back. If you want the best place for the (high) value in the entire Kathmandu, do not hesitate: this is it.

The charming Karma Hotel Nepal offers homely accommodation with en suite bathrooms in Kathmandu. Great hotel with very helpful staff! They helped me with exchange money at a great rate, helped me with tour bookings and airport pick up arrived as communicated!

Situated in Kathmandu, 1.9 km from Hanuman Dhoka, Hotel Aashraya Home features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. - very good localisation - clean room - comfortable bed - super friendly stuff, they helped me with booking bus ticket and gave me a lot of helpful advices - tasty breakfast on the rooftop I stayed there for 2 nights and I would recommend it to everybody :)

Set just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Phewa Lake, Hotel Middle Path & Spa offers clean and comfortable rooms with views. Complimentary WiFi access is available. The facility is not located by the lake but is at a convenient to reach to the town in few minutes walk. The room was clean and cozy enough.
