The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great advice and tips on what to see/when on my first trip to Nepal. Tulsi was also extremely helpful organising my trip to Kathmandu Valley (Nagarkot) from the hotel, ensuring I had a safe and enjoyable trip to Nepal! The location of the hotel is also brilliant, situated in a quiet and clean area where there is less car traffic, but also a 5 min walk from Thamel's bustling streets. The breakfast buffet in the morning had great options, ranging from Indian style, Nepali style and also American style breakfast options - the options were tasty and a great start to the day!

The facility is not located by the lake but is at a convenient to reach to the town in few minutes walk. The room was clean and cozy enough.

Devo Boutique Hotel es un alojamiento bien ubicado en el centro de Katmandú que ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y servicio de habitaciones. It is dificult to summarize a proper praise to this hotel. Been in Nepal for almost three months, in over 10 hotels, some of them really good. I mean: really. But none compare to this one. I came here for 2 days, to see if I felt comfortable for a convelescence period (after a leg injury in the mountains), or had to move somewhere else ("better" and way more expensive) as I would be 24/7 in the room/facilities. Those 2 days were more than enough to realize how lucky I'd been finding this place: right center of Thamel, but in an inner street with no noise; nice and very clean rooms with super comfortable bed; big modern bathroom; top breakfast, buffet style, with both variety and quality (something rare); and most importantly, amazing staff (security, cleaners, reception, waiters...all of it), willing to help beyond the extra mile. You can easily see the hand of Ishan, the exceptional manager, that makes this 3 star hotel a 5 star hotel experience -- the humble oppinion of a very frequent traveller and guest in hundreds of hotels and apartments. Needless to say that I extended my stay to over 8 days, and can't wait to come back. If you want the best place for the (high) value in the entire Kathmandu, do not hesitate: this is it.
