i , very bad cabinet and desk, you pay a lot of money and that’s what you get, this is the last station of us in Costa Rica and we got very bad feeling
The bathroom smell like a sewage , and the guy in the reception came with me to see what I’m talking about and he laughed in my face and the manager don’t want to give us refund or discount.
They are changed our room only after we spoke with booking team and the other room was so so but the chairs outside broken and all the room with a lot of mosquito, all the time you have noise outside and when you wake up in the morning you get bad feeling because the people .
The room cleaning Room service doesn't even knock on the door, they just open the door, if you're getting dressed or something it can be unpleasant, I don't recommend this hotel at all.

We got the local cheap and cheerful bus when we didn't want to walk as the roads are steep.
Favourite activities were ziplining and horse riding. It was also great just to sit on our terrace at Villas de la Selva and chill, watching and listening to the ocean.

The best was mesmerising.
The best was mesmerising. I had never imagined the Pacific to be so beautiful, but do be wary that some beaches can be rockier. The forests are full of wildlife that is respected, and I saw very little pollution - either I missed it, or it is testament to the people and their culture.

Albeit overly touristy this is a must-see/must-do if it’s your first time in Costa Roca. The guides are excellent and do use their expertise. You will see wildlife you’d otherwise miss! Buy a normal ticket for your second day in the park and explore the untrodden paths on your own and soak up some sun on the beautiful Manuel Antonio beach within the premises of the park!

I didn't see as many wild lives as I did 20 years ago.
I didn't see as many wild lives as I did 20 years ago. But the beach is ideal for swimming.
The surrounding restaurants are pricy which can be more costly than restaurants in North America. Suggest to stay with the Tico restaurants.

The national park was lovely.
The national park was lovely. We had a car so getting around was fine, but not sure how easy it is if you don't have a car as it is quite hilly. We did the El Santuario Zipline canopy tour which would be fun for families.

Very nice resort-spa in the middle of nature with its own monkey trail. Nice rooms and great pools, nice food at the restaurants. Staff were
super nice and helpful. We haven’t seen much wild animals during our first days at other places in Costa Rica, but at this hotel we saw the most animals just by sitting at the pool; sloths, monkeys, ara’s, tucans, lizards etc.. 🤩 This place is very recommended to people who want to have a relaxing time but also see animals en want to do things like hike (at manuel antionio park and monkey trail)
The location is great, couldn’t be closer to Manuel Antonio National Park. The hotel is right outside the park, entrance, a few minutes away from the public beach and there is a supermarket right next door.
It’s also very close to the public bus stop so getting around is easy if you don’t have a car.
The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and was very necessarily as it was always 30 degrees outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average.
This hotel is ideally located if you want to spend a day at the beach or are visiting the national park. We couldn't get tickets for the national park, and arrived way before check in, however the hotel were happy for us to park our car and leave our bags securely with their front desk, while we spent the day on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here. I travelled with my mum.
If you’re looking for a hotel close to Manuel Antonio national park, look no further. You can get a taxi or car over, you cannot walk but it’s located beside nice restaurants and shops all in walking distance.
This hotel has very clean rooms, comfy beds, amazing pool, super friendly staff. I really hope I can come back one day because it’s the best hotel I stayed in Costa Rica
This was our last Hotel on a 3 week Journey before flying home. This place is great to: relax, fast Access to Manuel Antonio national Park & to nice beaches. The view from the room (we got an update - thanks!) and the terrace for breakfast/dinner is simply breathtaking.
