The location is really good, 2 restaurants across the street that are cheap and very good. Walking distance from the city center and the beach, but not in the middle of the madness. The hotel was really clean and I mean Europe standards clean , the pool nice and staff very friendly.

Very nice place with lot of activities and nearby to Airport. Clean and calm beaches. If you go to Cenang beach you can enjoy a shopping dining and activities like Jet sking , paragliding. This place is also open during night time however we didnt vist it during night.

Lovely spot.
Lovely spot. Just the right amount of local and tourist spots. Nobody badgered us to take tours or buy things on the street. The shop and restaurant owners were all lovely and the service where we went was friendly and accommodating.

Good to hire a motorbike and explore other beaches, hikes, waterfalls and restaurants. Tanjung Rhu beach is reay nice. Visited Durian Perangin Waterfall, sandy skulls beach , temurin Waterfall, seven Wells Waterfall. We hiked Gunung machinchang and some of Gunung Raya. Dry season so some of the waterfalls not as much water.

The beach is beautiful but the experience ia terrible. Loud music everywhere during the night, jetsky and banana boat during daytime makes it one the worst beach I've ever been.
There are even big buildings and skyscrapers in development directly on the seashore which are destroying the natural vibe of the island.

Better to hire a scooter and try to find Langkawi's less touristy beaches. They do exist.

Rent a car once landed at the airport, it is economical. Several places would have free parking at Pantai Cenang area but some may have charges yet affordable and reasonable.
Driving there is easy, safe to follow the google map routes. The area at Pantai Cenang is lively and good. Many restaurants and shops. buy chocolates, night market, visit nearby Padi fields, etc.
It is also easy to get to other areas for other activities such as boat tour, eagle feeding, cable car and views, etc.

Enjoyed the restaurant options. All staff were pleasant and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Wings Langkawi. The room was spacious and spectacular, complete with convenient amenities like an oven for reheating take-away meals. The location at amenities of the hotel are fabulous. Everybody was so kind and went above and beyond to help with every little request. The pool was fabulous and breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lovely hotel. Great facilities. We liked the live band and enjoyed the beer.
The hotel room looks amazing and breakfast was delicious.
We had the view by the lake which is fabulous for a peace & quiet moment if you fancy a beer or coffee on the balcony.
