The location is excellent not far from the airport. facilities are top notch, the bar and restaurant was great. We liked the swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent and there was variety .View from the room was amazing .Our driver was awesome and he went above and beyond.

Very nice place with lot of activities and nearby to Airport. Clean and calm beaches. If you go to Cenang beach you can enjoy a shopping dining and activities like Jet sking , paragliding. This place is also open during night time however we didnt vist it during night.

Lovely spot.
Lovely spot. Just the right amount of local and tourist spots. Nobody badgered us to take tours or buy things on the street. The shop and restaurant owners were all lovely and the service where we went was friendly and accommodating.

Good to hire a motorbike and explore other beaches, hikes, waterfalls and restaurants. Tanjung Rhu beach is reay nice. Visited Durian Perangin Waterfall, sandy skulls beach , temurin Waterfall, seven Wells Waterfall. We hiked Gunung machinchang and some of Gunung Raya. Dry season so some of the waterfalls not as much water.

The beach is beautiful but the experience ia terrible. Loud music everywhere during the night, jetsky and banana boat during daytime makes it one the worst beach I've ever been.
There are even big buildings and skyscrapers in development directly on the seashore which are destroying the natural vibe of the island.

A nice beach, but a little too crowded for my liking. Much nicer in the evening when you can sit with a drink and watch the fire show.
Better to hire a scooter and try to find Langkawi's less touristy beaches. They do exist.

Great hospitality! A welcome drink was served to us upon arrival at the hotel lobby!
The breakfast was delicious! Salad bar and fruits are fresh too! The dining tables are all kept clean as well, which makes you feel comfortable to enjoy your breakfast. Great service from Mr Mavan (head chef), he such a friendly guy, and he would recommend us places to visit in Langkawi! Thank you, The Riyaz Lavanya, for such a wonderful stay and will definitely come back for more and recommend to our families and friends! ❤️
Gecko Guesthouse is located in an excellent position, right in front of Pantai Cenang Beach and in the area of many restaurants. We had a pleasant stay and we loved being around cats all the time! If you love cats, that's the place to be in Langkawi :))
All the staff was super available and Chief is the best local guide (he gave us sooo many useful tips on the island!).
WI-FI is good and I would suggest this place and its atmosphere for digital nomads or remote workers :))
The Hotel is perfectly located to get your next flight (2mins from Airport Langkawi) or just a step away from the Cenang Beach. The Hotel offers a free shuttle to the beach and the Airport. Rooms are big, breakfast good. It has a nice Pool with free towels. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Located at Pantai Cenang - the beach is just few steps away from the hotel. I got a beach front view, just what I needed. Cenang Mall is right opposite, with Zus & Pizza Hut next door. Lots of eateries nearby. Always my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Langkawi!
