I loved that it was small and cozy, had everything we needed in it, and it was down the road from Bayfair loved that part and of course our event at Classic Flyers where i had a power trip competition to attend. The staff pip was beautiful.

Weather against us, cold and rain. All people working in shops and restaurants super friendly and polite. Appeared genuinely interested in our visit. Great driving around as variety of different styles of housing to see. Beach fabulous, lots to do for all age groups. We really enjoyed our evening at Mamma Mia restaurant, authentic Italian, great service and friendly hospitality. Food yummy, reasonably priced.

Mount Maunganui is a buzzing hive of activity. People love to swim, run, walk around Mauao the maunga and spend time in the sun surfing or swimming. There is so much to do but it is a very busy place and parking is at a premium, that's the only downside.

White sand beaches however there are some dangerous parts to take children to but the rest of the beach is great for children. Theres a nice boardwalk along the beach. Awesome eateries. The mountainis named Mauao and is of indigenous cultural significance. Mauao is cloaked in bush and has a good view at the top. There needs to be a car parking building because there isnt enough car parks during peak times.

A fantastic chill out place or action if required. Easy & challenging walks over The Mount, beautiful beaches, safe swimming, good surf, hot pools for public use by the Mt, loads of quality accommodation, full quota of cafes, restaurants and bars. Great shopping. Incredible weather (mostly). Wonderful coastal location. Awesome for family holidays, couples retreat or a friends getaway. Short drive to Tauranga, and reasonably close driving to Hamilton & Rotorua.
We only had 2 nights/days which wasn't long enough to fully enjoy all available possibilities.
Recommend The Fat Cow bar & restaurant for a great meal and awesome cocktails!
Get your runners on and climb the Mount! Cruise town for great shopping and eats. Loads of breaking places. Icecream by the beach? Yes!

This is a marvelous small property within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach. Despite its size, it's comfortable, well equipped for simple meals, has parking and is convenient to central Mount Maunganui and the whole region. Brittany is very responsive to any and all messages and requests. Of course, space is limited but the interior design was very well imagined for functionality. We would strongly recommend this "Piccola Casa"!
Great location - close to the beach and an easy walk to the shops and eateries of Mount Maunganui. The apartment is compact but had everything we needed for a 3 night stay over the weekend. The quiet location, comfy bed and air conditioning made for a great night's sleep. The outdoor shower was a cute touch to rinse off the salt and sand after a trip to the beach. Host was non-intrusive but available and quick to respond to any queries.
The location in the middle of Mount Maunganui is very good! You’re at the beach in 8 minutes and there are many shops and cafes around the hostel. In addition, the outside eating area is nice as it can be covered and heated! In general, I liked the shared areas as they were cozy and comfortable.
Great location and friendly service. This is the second time we have stayed at the Boatshed apartments and we have enjoyed our stay both times. We will always stay there if we are in Tauranga.
