Loved the stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and easy to operate. We were also provided with a baby cot which was nice. Great view, family oriented as well. Spacious and shops and takeaways and restaurants not too far, if you like to take a walk. Can also see the mount and beaches absolutely stunning. Pool is a bit cold otherwise on a hot day you wouldn't mind.

I've not been to the Mount for years, and was so pleasantly surprised. Excellent eateries (we loved Master Kong, Hawker's Garden and Sailors). Shopping, people watching, swimming, ice creams - what's not to love!

Mount Maunganui (the mountain) is awe inspiring. you need to be reasonably fit to make it up the steep lopes and many steps. The reward of reaching the summit is worth the effort.
The food on the beach strip is very ordinary and over priced (typical holiday scene), coffee is served warm. Very disappointing.
However a street down there are some very good eateries.

As we all seemed to read at night bed lamps would be great.
With 6 people another shower would be awesome but it really
wasn't a problem.
Our host was great and the flowers in vases gave it a real nice
friendly touch.

Weather against us, cold and rain.
Weather against us, cold and rain. All people working in shops and restaurants super friendly and polite. Appeared genuinely interested in our visit. Great driving around as variety of different styles of housing to see. Beach fabulous, lots to do for all age groups. We really enjoyed our evening at Mamma Mia restaurant, authentic Italian, great service and friendly hospitality. Food yummy, reasonably priced.

Mount Maunganui is a buzzing hive of activity. People love to swim, run, walk around Mauao the maunga and spend time in the sun surfing or swimming. There is so much to do but it is a very busy place and parking is at a premium, that's the only downside.

The property is very central to Mount Maunganui shops, cafes bars, restaurants and Pilot Bay. Staff were very good with us checking what time we were likely to arrive. We were a day out on what we booked and this was accepted and adjusted by the staff. We appreciated this. The parking in the basement is great if you are travelling by car
We had stayed here on previously. The location of the apartment is so close to the beach and shops. The apartments are always clean. Instructions to enter apartments are very clear, if no one at reception.
Excellent A++ service. Massive rooms with breathtaking views. Very clean apartments with modern facilities, huge bathtub with everything we needed for an awesome mini holiday. Will definitely be back again.
