Weirdly quirky hotel, like stepping back in time, that’s why I chose it! Despite the ‘old’ feel to the room, the bed was really comfortable.. slept great. Shower was fine. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful

The employees were great! They engaged with us and made us feel very welcome. We were very impressed with our room. It was large, very clean, very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The free play offered to us was the highest of any place we've gambled. Having a restaurant was nice.

We thought the bus was a bit pricey .. $2.00 pp one way .OK if you are not indulging . Our thoughts if your inclined to walk do so .. Great walking for the "strip"

Great town to visit.
Great town to visit. With all the things to see and do, I could have used 2 more days to visit. My first impressions on the internet were I didn't see the big draw. When I got there I was over impressed with all to see and do.

Love the town!
Love the town! Everything is in walking distance; food, drink, gambling.
Free alcohol when gambling too makes it a fun town.
We always stay at the Bullock Hotel. The all you can eat buffets are great too!

The office staff were very helpful and friendly.
The office staff were very helpful and friendly. The steered us towards good places to eat and hiking spots with waterfalls. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. We appreciated having a freezer in the fridge. We were in the midst of a 2 week driving trip & traveled with snacks and lunch. The only disappointment was the small shower. While neither of us are big people, there was not much room to move in the shower stall. We managed and overall it was a pleasant stay.

We thought Deadwood would be more quaint and authentic but unfortunately, it is very touristy and commercial. Heavy emphasis on gambling and slot machines. Fortunately, we found two good restaurants in town but everything else looked like pretty average fair food wise. Lots of drunk people wandering the streets at night. Not sure why families would visit here? Legends Steakhouse and Jake’s were both excellent!

Deadwood itself was ok but a little too “Las Vegas” for me.
Deadwood itself was ok but a little too “Las Vegas” for me. I did not go there to gamble but it seems that is what they are now known for. Even the downtown area lost its flavor of the old west because of the large resorts that took over! So sad!

1899 Inn is a beautiful old building, loads of character and definitely the best B&B we have stayed in in the USA. The property was clean, tidy, comfortable and the breakfasts truly a revelation to us from the U.K., not what we would generally eat for breakfast but absolutely delicious! The hosts could not do enough for you. I would recommend this place to stay to anyone. 5 minutes walk to the the hustle and bustle of downtown Deadwood but very quiet and comfortable.
If you want to experience the ”real” Deadwood… this is the place to stay at! Smack on the Historic Main Street with Seth Bullocks ghost roaming around the corridors. Friendly staff. Very clean room/bathroom. Nice breakfast. I Will stay here again!
Great hotel in the centre of town but not noisy. Could walk to everything. Break fast was good but would like some healthy choices like cereal, or yoghurt.
