One of the two elevators was broken the whole stay making the working one very busy 3 times I had to wait on it to go down to reception with my door card which never worked ! Maintenance came twice never fixed it ! Had to go to another floor twice for ice as ice machine didn’t work on my floor ! My coffee wasn’t replaced after use so no coffee in the room
The door key was the most aggravating and reception offered zero help or solutions!
Won’t be back here again there are so many hotels to choose from in the area where these things don’t happen !
This hotel takes your money and after that don’t care !

It was great! It was clean … ALOT more clean than what I expected. Very well maintained. The lifeguards on duty were very observant and seemed to keep those in check who challenged the waves (went out waaay too far).

No breakfast like other hotels, no toiletries after check in. Towels would get swapped out. Wifi only worked while standing at the door to the room. The doors didn't work very well always moving even after locking. Annoying ppl putting their restaurant menus in the door all hours of night an day. Only one working elevator, not ever cleaned. Very bad smell throughout the hallways. You get what you pay for. I'll never stay at this hotel again. I only booked this bc my Airbnb fell through.

My family and I love vacationing in Myrtle Beach. There is always something new for us to do each visit. The night life is great and it is also family friendly for people traveling with kids. We always make time for the Original Benjamin’s Seafood restaurant and Broadway at the Beach.

I love the ocean I just wish it was clearer. There are lots of activities to do on and off the strip/beach. The people are friendly all around. There is a lot of entertainment as well. Lots of shopping centers, souvenir shops and places to eat. I just don’t like that the sand gets in everywhere lol. The weather was nice just a little windy. I loved walking the boardwalk and along the beach. I loved walking around The Family Kingdom Amusement Park. We are at Land Shark Bar and Grill (I believe that’s the name of the place) for my birthday dinner it was very delicious. We ate while being able to see the ocean and listen to live music. Traffic can get buddy but everything is pretty much on the strip. Although we ventured out to go to celebration road or drive to do more sight seeing. There is Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, The Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Ripley’s Aquarium And Wonder Works to name a few activities for families.
The view was awesome. We had three issues: plugged drains in the bathroom, marijuana smell from next door condo, and very bad directions sent to my phone. The address was incorrect in Myrtle Beach however- it was correct in North Myrtle Beach. This incorrect information lost us at least two hours. We actually unloaded the car only to realize this was not where we were supposed to be. a nightmare after driving for 14 hours. I finally did call bookings-and the gentleman did guide us to the correct hotel.
The room was a nice size I had a late check out it was in a good location the beach was close by. And it was close by the beach….. Glad that the Walmart was close by within walking distance…. Like that it was more hotels building with a pool and water park kind of a thing it was nice. The staff was nice to us if we needed help they were eager to help
There is a Beautiful lake in the back of the Hotel that has an amazing view and a nice sitting area.The beds were amazing! I had the best sleep ever in our soft and really comfy bed! Another great thing about this hotel was its location. Its located on the strip where numerous eating places are near and not far from the outlets.
I have photos to attest to the uncleanness. The only hotel on the strip with football stadium lights that light up the entire beach at ALL NIGHT LONG... its annoying no one wants a 50k watt LED light blaring on them... the only place on the coastline where I saw a massive LED light, change your name to Ocean Sands Lighthouse.
Tiffany at the front desk TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY!!! IT WAS OUR WEDDING 💍 NIGHT having just gotten married at Wedding Chapel by the Sea in Myrtle Beach and the oceanfront suite was perfect!! We stayed on the balcony most of the time lol ! Loved that the bar also served food and the inside parking was a big plus.
this is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in at myrtle beach. they have so much for kids to do and an nice little coffee bar in the morning! it is walking distance from the center but if you have kids maybe a 2 minute car ride. I fully enjoyed this hotel and will be coming back.

Excellent communication from the hotel. Checking was simple and efficient. This is an older hotel in Myrtle Beach but nicely renovated and clean. Location is perfect for coffee, the beach, the boardwalk and nearby restaurants. The pool was crystal clear and maintained well.

Great choice if you are visiting Myrtle Beach. Clean and well-maintained facilities and the hotel is at a great location. They have a nice fitness center, activity center for kids and teenagers, two decent-sized pools with two SPAs, etc. Everything was great.
The room! Oceanfront king suite was amazing. Loved the Murphy bed and private king bed. Loved this room. Awesome views and a full kitchen. Best room on the strip.

I liked that it's a right in the middle of everything, I like that it's cheaper and cleaner than most hotels on the strip.. I like how my room had the kitchen stove and fridge in it. That made things a lot easier for me.
Rate Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront rooms were clean. The pool area was great and I liked that the hotel provided pool towels. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast provided daily was great.
The only thing good about this property is the location. Right on the beach. If you’re looking for a cheap ass place to stay and don’t mind a dirty hotel this is the place for you.
