Staff was pleasant. Location was good with a nice view of the bridge. Bed was comfortable enough, had a good sleep. A fridge & microwave but no coffee maker, though free coffee was available in the lobby until 10am. Easy check in and out. For our 1 night it was fine.

In short, a spectacular destination hotel. Brilliant (and challenging) in its conception and execution. A flawless performance aesthetically, practically, and worth every penny. Hats off!
In spite of being some 7000km away from the UK, hope to return some day.

My wife and I make an annual pre-Christmas trip to Astoria. We don’t spend much time in our room other than sleeping, so we didn’t want to spend a lot of money for just that. Riverwalk Inn offered us just that.

I was raised in Astoria.
I was raised in Astoria. It was nice to see he town is after being gone for 35 years. We enjoyed visiting it after so many years. Our favorite spot is the waterfront...all of it. Downtown looks very nice and prosperous. The old Astor Hotel could use a better paint job...a single color for everything is rather bland. The old building could look very nice and inviting with some trim color added.

Astoria is a good gateway to the Oregon Coast worth a short stay.
Like many smaller communities, the economy has not rebounded from covid closures. Interesting harbor, waterfront areas with a tram for visiting attractions. The Maritime museum is very interesting and worth a visit. Also the Astoria Tower.

It was a neat place - there are several places of interest they advertise, and they are interesting. We did not have the time to spend - we drove around and saw the town - the old buildings are very neat. Mixed in with all of the new. We just did not have the time to do a bunch of things.

We always enjoy our stay in Astoria.
We always enjoy our stay in Astoria. It is the first leg of a VW cruise we participate in every year. We love eating at the Bridgewater Bistro for dinner and the Pig and Pancake Restaurant for breakfast. The area is beautiful. The bridge is unbelievable! And beautiful to just sit and look at! We love Astoria.

We booked this hotel while on our road trip and it was a perfect stop. The staff was very welcoming, the hotel is cool and trendy, the beds are comfortable, the homemade granola at breakfast was delicious. Upon check in we were told the hotel has an agreement with the nearby bike shop and cruiser bikes are free for one hour. It was great! I would recommend the bike path in the direction opposite to the bridge, much more scenic and quieter. Good for walking, running and/or biking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Took the time to talk us through many different recommendations for things to do nearby, and taught us all about Astoria. We had a great time at the brewery they recommended. Also, though small, the room was comfortable and warm.
