It is a very fun place and very crowded, but that is a necessary evil when going to Disney or Universal! Traffic is ALWAYS heavy so be prepared for a wait and enjoy the scenery. We look at the different shopping centers and what is in them and plan pretend vacation stay at that strip mall. We do it on every corner. It is actually fun can make for a very interesting "pretend" strip mall vacation! We have hotels we like and have tried many, The Red Lion seems to be our go to for affordable and comfortable stays with a lazy river and other amenities it works better for us than on property hotels mostly. I would also suggest checking out Old Town, it seems like a little spot but there is soo much there, an old A&W that serves in frosted heavy glass mugs, Flippers, a really good hole in the wall wood fire pizza spot that is really good. All kinds of little places a gormet popcorn shop, All kinds of fun things to look at and it is a bit of history too.

Online, it stated that they had activities scheduled for the kids.. I took the kids to the activities room, and they had nothing for them to do. There was supposed to be balloon games at noon, but they ran out of balloons a couple weeks ago they said. The three employees there were too busy playing on their cell phones.

Kissimmee/Orlando area is a high tourist area and expenses are high here but they don’t have to be. Plenty to see and do that doesn’t cost anything such as Margaritaville where live bands play on Saturday nights and national parks to explore.
Come prepared with lots of patience for the traffic, and coins for the toll roads.

Kissimmee is full of restaurants and shops and a very short drive from the Disney parks and Universal Studios. There are plenty of places to stay from low budget hotels to private villas. There are also a number of discount outlets selling top quality clothes With between 30 and 50 Percent reductions.

They did not make the bed for us for the two nights we stayed there. We had to call them to replace towels every time. I was disappointed. I really enjoyed the first time I stayed there that is why I went back. I am not too sure if I will go back there.

Very close to all the theme parks. Easy to get to from Orlando International Airport. Great selection of shops and restaurants within a short drive. Supermarkets within 10 minutes of the villa we stayed at.

We were very surprised with this Hotel, in a good way. We traveled for 3 weeks and stayed at different Hotels, and this was the one where we had our best sleep. Beds were nice. Room was super clean. TV had plenty of channel options. Shower had good pressure. They offered coffee in the morning. A McDonalds and a 7Eleven are right there, you can walk there if needed. Front desk person was very nice. And they dont charge a security deposit in advance.
At this price point most hotels are run down & dirty. This hotel was exceptionally clean & tidy & has obviously been refurbished recently. I have stayed in more expensive rooms that have been way worse. A comfortable clean modern room, I was extremely happy with my stay there.
