We love Kissimmee,you can drive to the old town go for a great meal anywhere along the 192. Depending on your location you can be near to Disney. It's also a gate way to either coast. Celebration is lovely. Old Town very American we love the cars.Those goodies out there will love the truck stop that has recently opened.I think this is a great base to explore central florida.It is also for all budgets from the Hotel six to Margaritaville. Or private houses and apartments.😀

Its a must go to destination least once, where fantasy becomes reality. Venture away from Disney and Universal for a few days and exodct the main parks to be busy.
There is plenty to do outside of the main parks, try Gatorland for example it's fiscally sensible and a superb place to visit.

It is a very fun place and very crowded, but that is a necessary evil when going to Disney or Universal! Traffic is ALWAYS heavy so be prepared for a wait and enjoy the scenery. We look at the different shopping centers and what is in them and plan pretend vacation stay at that strip mall. We do it on every corner. It is actually fun can make for a very interesting "pretend" strip mall vacation! We have hotels we like and have tried many, The Red Lion seems to be our go to for affordable and comfortable stays with a lazy river and other amenities it works better for us than on property hotels mostly. I would also suggest checking out Old Town, it seems like a little spot but there is soo much there, an old A&W that serves in frosted heavy glass mugs, Flippers, a really good hole in the wall wood fire pizza spot that is really good. All kinds of little places a gormet popcorn shop, All kinds of fun things to look at and it is a bit of history too.

This is the worst hotel I ever been. I will never place a reservation trough Booking this place was a fraud they robe me $ 100 dollars just because I went to check the room. The staff at the counter was rude a and very poor to solve the situation .
Good location if you want to visit the parks in Orlando (it is 15-20 minutes by car to these parks). Kissimmee is quite big town and you have everything really close such as foods and restaurants. Comfortable beds.
Clean, comfortable beds, good location, good wifi, housekeeping attended daily to clean the room, staff were friendly, really cheap compared to other hotels in the area.
I was surprised I did not hear any noises from the other rooms next to ours, even when hotel was at full capacity. Shower and beds were ok. But that was it.
