Perfect spot, on the beach, 20 min walk to mystic town center. The scenery is magical, very high attention to details. Complementary wine at arrival, coffee available in abondance. The room was very clean and neat and beautifully designed. You have access to many activities on the site free of charge (bikes, canoe, paddle) with a direct deck to water. Ee had such a great time, should’ve stayed longer.

We were able to visit the USSS Nautilus, the Mystic Aquarium as well at the Seaport in two days. I wish we had a little more time because it was crowded at the aquarium but overall it was amazing for our three kids who are 8, 5 and 2. We enjoyed it as well. A lot to do and learn about all while having fun and creating memories.

The Old Mystick Village, Downtown Mystic - lots of shopping and dining options! Nice overall atmosphere. The Mystic Diner is GREAT! We ate at The Mariner on Main Street - the Lobster Roll was cheaper than the one we had in Boston, but not as much Lobster or flavor…and that is advertised as their best! Didn’t try Mystic Pizza as a local worker said “it sucks”. Did take a picture under the sign though!

We only had one and a half days to spend in Mystic.
We only had one and a half days to spend in Mystic. On day 1 we were able to visit Old Mystic Village, with its charming collection of quaint shops and eateries, and the Seaport Museum, where we climbed aboard old ships and walked back in time as we visited the various buildings and houses; it was sort of like a miniature version of Williamsburg VA and we enjoyed it very much. We spent 2 hours there and it was not enough - we should have planned for 4 hours to see everything. Day 2 was spent at the amazing Aquarium - this place is a pure delight for all ages. There are many hotels and restaurants in close proximity to the main attractions. We chose the Hampton Inn and Suites, and it was excellent. For our dinner, we chose Red36, with delicious food and outside seating by the water. FYI -we noticed they allow dogs in the dining area, which might be a problem for anyone allergic to dogs. Overall, Mystic is a great place to visit and next time we will plan to stay at least 3 days there.

Mystic has so many great restaurants.
Mystic has so many great restaurants. There are plenty of shops and fun things to see. The Mystic Aquarium is great too. The only problem is parking and the fact that Mystic is so interesting to so many people it is always crowded.

Mystic Seaport is a world of its own steeped in maritime life. There are special events throughout the year & various cruises available. Mystic Aquarium is a must see for everyone. Old Mystic Village is full of quaint shops. The USS Nautilus itself & Submarine Force museum in Groton are fascinating & with many things you can touch! The scenes set up with people in the submarine are fun. Stop at Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock for the freshest seafood or ice cream. Or hop over to Foxwoods for Bingo!

The city seemed really nice.
The city seemed really nice. We enjoyed the restaurants, particularly Red36, and Andiamo.
The recreation activities including the Seaside museum and the Aquarium were also excellent.
The downtown area was nice to walk through. The ice cream place near the Mystic River bridge was also great. Parking downtown is tricky.
Great Staff and friendly people. The breakfast was great, and the parking was hassle-free. We came in late but had no issues checking into the hotel. We had a straightforward checkout process, and we liked the room. The beds were a little stiff, but we slept well.
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. 24hr beverage station and breakfast bagels. Plenty of parking and near to several tourist areas including Mystic Sea Port Museum.
