I go to mystic every year in the fall.

I go to mystic every year in the fall. I shop at Mystic Village as I stock up on items for the year. Olive oil, kitchen shop and Beca Rose. I was lucky this year as the had an Apple Fest there this year. I spent a bundle there this year, but it was a really fun time. Have my favorite places to eat because it is the only place to get excellent belly clams and lobster rolls. Only spent 4 nights but I could have stayed a lot longer. You only live once so go and enjoy yourself!

I love the town of Mystic, a lot of great shopping… The home was only less than 3 miles from downtown. Perfect location to everything that Mystic has to offer. The hosts were very accommodating and quick with their responses to our questions… We live in Northern California and visit back East every couple of years. I definitely will reach out to book this property again in the near future! Barb

We were able to visit the USSS Nautilus, the Mystic Aquarium...

We were able to visit the USSS Nautilus, the Mystic Aquarium as well at the Seaport in two days. I wish we had a little more time because it was crowded at the aquarium but overall it was amazing for our three kids who are 8, 5 and 2. We enjoyed it as well. A lot to do and learn about all while having fun and creating memories.

The Old Mystick Village, Downtown Mystic - lots of shopping and dining options! Nice overall atmosphere. The Mystic Diner is GREAT! We ate at The Mariner on Main Street - the Lobster Roll was cheaper than the one we had in Boston, but not as much Lobster or flavor…and that is advertised as their best! Didn’t try Mystic Pizza as a local worker said “it sucks”. Did take a picture under the sign though!

We only had one and a half days to spend in Mystic.

We only had one and a half days to spend in Mystic. On day 1 we were able to visit Old Mystic Village, with its charming collection of quaint shops and eateries, and the Seaport Museum, where we climbed aboard old ships and walked back in time as we visited the various buildings and houses; it was sort of like a miniature version of Williamsburg VA and we enjoyed it very much. We spent 2 hours there and it was not enough - we should have planned for 4 hours to see everything. Day 2 was spent at the amazing Aquarium - this place is a pure delight for all ages. There are many hotels and restaurants in close proximity to the main attractions. We chose the Hampton Inn and Suites, and it was excellent. For our dinner, we chose Red36, with delicious food and outside seating by the water. FYI -we noticed they allow dogs in the dining area, which might be a problem for anyone allergic to dogs. Overall, Mystic is a great place to visit and next time we will plan to stay at least 3 days there.

Mystic has so many great restaurants.

Mystic has so many great restaurants. There are plenty of shops and fun things to see. The Mystic Aquarium is great too. The only problem is parking and the fact that Mystic is so interesting to so many people it is always crowded.

Love the independent locally-owned nature of Taber - not a cookie-cutter hotel that could be in Anytown USA. Paul at check in was a fount of reliable helpful info and the owner/family team at breakfast Sunday morning illustrated the commitment to quality service. We'll come back on future Mystic trips!
