Without being pretentious, the staff are unwaveringly friendly, welcoming and professional. Everyone from maitre d’ to gardeners greets you and makes you feel genuinely welcome and valued. The food is exceptional, I recommend half-board and just stay here. I loved the pools, and jacuzzi, the hamman was my temple, and gym very good. Views of the ocean are spectacular.

Set on three hectares of tree-lined grounds, Akoya Hotel & Spa offers 5-star accommodation in La Saline les Bains. This hotel features an infinity pool with panoramic views of the lagoon. The staff is exceptional, as is the general manager. The room was large and comfortable and the grounds well-maintained. We enjoyed the infinity pool and the balcony near the bar, with its view of the ocean at sunset. We had a late night flight and appreciated the late check out very much.

Very nice property with spacious rooms in the heart of the Cilaos. It's perfectly located to do numerous hikes available in Cilaos. I was upgraded to the better room with the small garden and magnificent view to the Piton des Neiges, the room is quite big, very clean and has everything you need for your stay.
