Amazing accommodation in Reunion! It’s quite close to the Volcano Road and in a very quite and serene part of the island. We had one half of the house fully for ourselves and it was cosy, private and very nicely furnished.

Serge is a very good host. He welcomed us personally and it felt as if he takes hospitality very seriously. I liked the little welcome gifts. Serge definetely put thought into the details. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, very modern and comfortable. Serge must have invested a lot into all the new equipment and in March 2024 the apartment seemed brand-new to us. I especially liked the lounge area in the garden - a beautiful place to have meals. Dinner under the starlit sky.
Watch out for the nearby "Boulangerie de la Plaine Chez Grondin" - they have amazing breads, pastries and biscuits to enrich your breakfast.
We took some of it with us to the Volcano for breakfast along the way (at Nez de la boeuf). For this kind of tour, Serge's apartment is a good home-base.
Hotel has a very good location. It's a good point to sart a journey to the top of the vulcain. They have a swimming pool so you can relxa after sunny day. It is not a big pool but perfect for relaxy and admiring sunset. Breakfast is rellay good they offer a local products. If you need to check out earlier than the breakfast they can prepare breakfast for you so you don't need to worried about. I raley recommend that hotel for one or two night.
What a surprise! We picked the hotel as a no-frills overnight stop before climbing the next day. We arrived late to be welcomed by some excellent staff and given a warm and comfortable room. The on -site restaurant is truly excellent - some of the finest food we have tasted on this trip. We were leaving early the next day and breakfast was delivered to our room.
Two-star hotel, so no great expectations. Shabby building, but inside - friendly, helpful staff, well equipped 4* level room with direct access to a fantastic garden with mountain views, delicious rich breakfasts and dinners, that even much more luxurious and expensive hotels didn't offer us later. A huge positive surprise, highly recommended.
