The lady at the reception was really nice and I could also do check in earlier than expected.

Super friendly staff. Great location next to the amphitheatre and a short walk to the Old Town (left out of the hotel). The Kastel and it's tunnels are worth a visit. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the ferry port even with luggage (right out of the hotel). We left before breakfast so they made us a packed lunch to take away, which was much appreciated.

Pula has been drawing visitors to its sunny shores since Roman times. Many an empire fought over its strategic Istrian Peninsula location, but thankfully they left its monuments largely intact. None is more impressive than huge Pula Arena, a Roman amphitheatre just back from the port.
The Temple of Rome and Augustus is a wall from another temple has been incorporated into the 10th-century Communal Palace on the cobbled square which occupies the site of the former Roman forum. The Arch of Sergii was a triumphal memorial and the Twin Gates and nearby Gate of Hercules provided access through the Roman walls.
Today’s walls are medieval and skirt a hill topped with a Venetian castle housing the Istrian History Museum. Halfway up are the Roman theatre remains, accessible via Pula Archaeological Museum.
The 6th-century Basilica of St Mary Formosa has mosaics similar to those in Ravenna across the Adriatic and Pula Cathedral was originally from the same century, but got rebuilt over 800 years later.
For many though, Pula’s wonderful beaches and turquoise seas are the biggest attractions. Its undulating coastline is peppered with luxury hotels, resorts and cheap apartments on Booking.com, all easily accessible from Pula Airport. Some look towards the Brijuni National Park islands whose waters offer some great diving spots.

You have to be able to handle the heat, even late in the evening, but Pula is a nice mix of ancient buildings and modern city life. There are many things to see that make exploring the city worthwile, it has a vibrant city life in the evenings and many beaches to enjoy the weather during the day.

We got stung when we arrived by a taxi at the airport that charged 50 Euros for what was a 20 euro app drive or 30 for a normal taxi so be careful when you exit the airport. It was a nice Audi estate but not worth 50 Euros for a 10 minute trip. Apart from that it felt a safe and welcoming city. Its not our first time in Croatia so we know its a nice place. Lots to do in Pula. If you do hire a car lots and lots to do in the surrounding areas.

A lovely historic town with an authentic atmosphere.
A lovely historic town with an authentic atmosphere. Even the touristy historic center feels like a place where locals live, and it's not just another tourist amusement park like other historic centers elsewhere in Europe. One day is enough to see the main sights. If a visitor wants to get to know the place better, go for a swim at the beach, or travel around the area, it's a good idea to plan for more days.

Pula was my last stop after Dubrovnik, Trojir, Rovinj and Zadar. The arena was nice (10 Euros to ener), but there wasn't as much to do/explore in the area. It's nice for 1 day/night.

Nice city with many oportunities how to spend your free time. Aquarium was nice as well as beaches. We didnt like Ambrella beach due to many people and strong waves as well as not so clean water. For families with children the Fazana beach is amazing. We also visited Brijuni park but I do not recommend the train ride, better to explore the park on bikes or golf carts as you can do as many stops as you want.

a town very rich in history with a very lively and animated center.
During the day it is possible to go on excursions to many beaches or by boat, in the evening it is full of places for aperitifs, dinner, and after dinner
We were welcomed by the owner who lives at the back. Very nice owners who will do their best to make your stay a great experiance in their apartment and croatia. He even organised Dutch TV chanels. The appartment has all you need including a garden and bbq. Private parking and a short walk to a lovely beach and yacht harbour. Many restaurants and minimarket close by. What else do you need.
Everything was great. The owner of the apartments Stefan was very friendly, he met us, which was very nice. The apartments are very clean. Everything you need is there. In the fridge there was a surprise from the owner. Cold drinks and sweets. Thank you very much. I recommend the apartments Monte. If we go to Croatia next year, we will only go to Stefan.
The check in system was great, parking was safe and close, the staff was forthcoming, the apartment was really close to everything, wonderfull time and out of all my stays in Pula, this was the best accomodation in croatian: Sve je bilo savršeno
Fantastic amenities and fabulous host! One of the best accommodation for our Croatia road trip. Hosts welcomed us with homemade wine! Touched by the warm gesture. The only accommodation that has 2 baths!
Beautiful design of apartment, owner was very communicative and leave us some Croatian drinks (bear and slivovica), perfect location. Highly recommended.
