Beautiful location. Staff were very kind and went above and beyond to meet our requests. The new owners are a family and are doing major upgrades after what appears to be years of neglect. While there is no hot tub at present, they are planning to replace the old large one with two small ones. Good food. Gorgeous views. Enjoyed picking and eating figs and apricots, too bad we were early for grapes. This is a great place for families!

Approachable, energetic and welcoming staff. Lovely grounds and bird life.
They have maintained the old facade of the castle and the hotel itself is of an interesting design.
Breakfast was good especially the homemade breads, however a bit of friction to obtain a cup of tea 😅
Wine tasting lecture and tour of grounds were very informative and enjoyable.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The park with its extensive tree collection is soo relaxing to walk around in. I loved all the excursions on offer and the food at the restaurant was top notch. All the little details like board games and garden grown food! Really helpful friendly staff.
