We stayed at the hotel in early September and it was very quiet, with only a few other guests. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, despite their lack of knowledge of English. The central location is excellent - just around the corner from the central square and only a few minutes' walk from the coach station.

Got out of the elevator on the 1st floor to be greeted by jungle wallpaper, the face of a leopard and a backlit African sunset on the ceiling. Got into our room to find a huge lion looking at us and all bedsheets and pillows covered in lions. If you like this kind of kitch then this hotel will blow you away and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE this kind of kitch! The place was spotless and everything worked. Lots of thought has gone into the design of this hotel and the staff were very attentive.

Overall, it was a pleasant place with nice staff. I didn't like the first room because of strong tobacco smell, so they gave me another one. It was quiet inside and I slept well.

There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities.
We just could not put up with smoking everywhere.
There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places.
No free drinking water facilities.
Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark…
Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services.
Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.

Very nice hotel ,close to the center.The hotel has all facilities for a very good stay .Staff very nice ,kind and helpfull .In the evening we have a good drink at the bar ,and in the morning they prepared a traditional breackfast for us.So ,if you need a stop in your way to Greece or Romania ,we recomanded this hotel ,and of course Haskovo like city.Small but very nice city .
This is an excellent hotel, spotlessly clean with spacious corridors and rooms run by friendly staff. The bedroom was well appointed with very comfortable beds. Within easy walking distance of the city centre and the railway station.
