Clean, comfortable large room - much better than we were expecting given that this place is apparretly only a two star hotel. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Finding the place and parking is very easy and the location is great for exploring Lake Louise and Moraine, as well as nearby Yoho national park and the Icefields Parkway.

This property is just gorgeous. We stayed for one night and arrived late afternoon. The check in desk staff were really friendly and efficient. I had booked a double room, travelling with our two young boys.
Parking was free and we got a space right outside our room.
Once we walked through the door, we very quickly realised that we had been upgraded without being told. We had a two bedroom, two story, two bath space, with a small balcony.
It was absolutely beautiful and it gave us the space we needed to let our kids run around after a long travel day.
We made use of legends restaurant and opted to take our food back to the room. Portions were huge, and really tasty.
Check out was also super friendly and efficient. Our upgrade was confirmed and I thanked the clerk.
We would come back in a heartbeat and seriously considered staying another night.
SO close to lake louise. Perfect to stay if you want to catch the sunrise or sunset.

It was a perfect night there. The place was huge with facilities and shops to explore. Our rooms were wonderful and breakfast was excellent. What I love most were the staffs, they were polite, friendly, and helpful.

Great private rooms and even though the shower wasn’t in the private bathroom it was still very nice and modern private showers just outside the room.
Located 20 minutes’ drive from Lake Louise in an isolated setting, this hostel offers shared kitchen facilities and a wood heated sauna. Cross-country and backcountry skiing are available on site.

Clean, comfortable, warm rooms and common area. Well stocked kitchen, sauna was fun. Not nearly as wilderness as might be expected, even an hour of wifi per night if the sun was good enough to charge the solar battery. Good location for some hikes in the area.
Featuring mountain views, Castle Mountain Chalets in Castle Junction features accommodation and barbecue facilities.

What a lovely stay! My fiancé an I were celebrating our engagement and they made sure to provide the perfect stay! We were surprised with gifts and a kind note, which made our days and nights here even more special! Special thanks to Nihar and Darrel for their kindness.
The place was super clean and there was carefully chopped wood in the fire place ready for us.
There is no restaurant on site, but the private kitchen is very well equipped, and their store will provide everything that you need. There is also a pump if you need gas…that was VEEERY handy!
There is also a very cozy main lodge with games and a big fireplace.
Just 1 km from Lake Louise, Paradise Lodge and Bungalows offers spacious lodge rooms and fully equipped cabins. The property is surrounded by gardens which include a barbecue and a playground.

Amazing stay in a true mountain lodge. Staff were excellent and the food at the restaurant was superb.
Given the price level, we were expecting something special.
Given the price level, we were expecting something special. In fact it was our worst experience as we travelled across The Canadian Rockies.
Woken by rodents and the shuttle staff who were located near our room.
Was an anticlimax as we were really looking forward to staying here. Way outside of our normal budget and sadly way below average standards

It's a great place to visit if you have just one day and would like to do a lot. You can leave your car near the lake, and the walk to the lake won't take too long. Lake Louise is very beautiful during the summer (after June 21) and also lovely during the winter. My recommendation is to always check the photos of the lake before commenting so it will be a surprise for you if on May 26 it still has ice on top.

Lake Louise is a beautiful picturesque area of Banff that is easily accessible off the Trans Canada not far from Calgary airport.
The town has limited accommodations and during peak season can be difficult to secure a room, so book early.
During the winter months the proximity of the town to the ski resorts is great, and the Moraine Lake snowshoe hike is beautiful.
For a closer and more convenient experience, skating and walking on Lake Louise is an amazing experience, and with the Chateau ice bar at your disposal, a perfect way to enjoy nature without needing to venture off the beaten path.
The Lake Louise Inn has a wonderful full service restaurant that serves some off the chart, top notch pizza's with local brews if that's your way to enjoy it.
Breakfast is available at most of the hotels I've stayed in, inquire when booking, it may be included with your stay.
Summer, well, it's busy...! Be prepared too wait in lineups, and book your spot for the tour bus to the lake early.

We did not realise that their was a shuttle bus to the ski resort. This would have been great for us, as the walk from the car park to the ski area is a considerable distance if you do not get there early.

I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful!
I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful! The village has a lot to offer any level tourist/traveler. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. The prices are quite high and really do need to be reduced in the tourist shops. It has world class skiing and unmatched natural beauty.

Amazing place to visit even in Winter (late Nov), all the christmas decorations were up, we still walked 1/2 way around the lake. Fairmont Chateu upgraded us to top floor lake view room, we watched the sun come up over Lake Louise....that was very special. Not much else to do in Lake Louise at winter if you don't ski. Lake Louise Village is nothing. Bow Valley Parkway is just beautiful. Do Johnston Canyon but definitely need cleats if there is snow on the ground as the paths become very slippery. Try get there at 10am or before as less people. By lunch time it is very busy.

The hotel is located just outside of motorway 1, three minutes away from Lake Louise and five minutes from Moraine Lake.
The room was pretty and had lots of cool facilities, such as a boot heater and usb plugs. The hot tub was definitely a big plus, nothing feels better than to enter a warm bath after a hiking day.
The hotel location is great for quick access to the freeway and local amenities. It also has a shuttle bus to Lake Louise and the staff on reception and in the Timber wolf restaurant
were all excellent, very helpful and friendly.
The location and access to Lake Louise is the clear differentiating factor. Friendly and helpful staff too, and we enjoyed the spa. The Guides Pantry was also a good cheaper way for less formal meals.
Brilliant staff and great location. Shuttle from the hotel to moraine lake and the staff also drove us in their car to Lake Louise. Really enjoyable stay when visiting the lakes
