The location is great. The hotel is showing it's age and takes in too many tour groups. The hotel site states 3 restaurants. There is ONLY ONE. This makes the one restaurant too busy. Not good value by my standards.

A picturesque quaint capital which happened to have 2 cruise ships docked and a marathon on the same Sunday! We thought by Oct. 20th everything would be closed down but it was a beautiful and hot day of 24 degrees and tour groups walking about hearing PEI history. Provincial House was undergoing renovations but the restaurants, often housed in red brick 🧱 structures, were still serving seafood and other delicious offerings. We enjoyed strolling the streets using our town map and simply observing the layout of our birthplace of confederation.

We loved PEI. Beautiful Islland/Province.
We loved PEI. Beautiful Islland/Province. People were very friendly. Easy to get around with a car. We found good restaurants and some were reasonably priced. It seemed like all the properties on the island were very well kept. We enjoyed the 'free entertainment' beside the Confederation Arts Center on Friday night. Thank you City of Charlottetown.

Charlottetown offered a lot of eating, shopping, and walking options that were closeby. Ii was also a great place from which to travel to other parts of the island and return each night. We traveled to many beaches - all convenient from Charlottetown. A definite must see for its beauty

We enjoyed walking around the harbour area - Peakes Quay has many food kiosks and souvenir shops - we enjoyed a drink at the tiki bar. We ate outside at John Browns on Richmond street. The food was fine but what made it special was the live music directly opposite on the street.
Syney Street was also recommended to us for some good restaurants.
We found it easy to walk around the town and free parking was available on many of the streets.

We had a lot of options, but many were overpriced for what they were. Definitely a tourist place, with pricing to match. Local shopping was not the greatest, and tourist-type shopping was very similar to other, better options. I enjoyed the historic homes on the water, and Victoria Park, but was disappointed by the offerings at the Farmers Markets

Jason was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We arrived at 10.30am and we were able to leave luggage in our room and have a cup of tea in the sitting room. We were three singles and our spacious bedroom had three beds (other hotels in Charlottetown were unable to provide this for us). Our room was very clean with plenty of towels. We were able to walk to all the sites in town. We were able to sit out in the sunny garden in the afternoon. Breakfast was more substantial than I expected. Overall a great place to stay at a good price.
This is a beautiful old house, the owner was very nice and friendly ,room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable,we stayed here 4nights ,we enjoyed our staying and if we come back PEI we will stay here again.
This house has very good location ,you can walk around downtown very easyly, when we departure ,the owner gave us some cake and bananas because we will catch bus whole day ,Thanks a lot,we recommend here for everybody, you will enjoy your stay.
Very sweet family run facility. Excellent location for walking and site seeing. It is also located to easily accessible roads, to and from the airport, or for exploring beyond Charlottetown. Rooms are huge compared with a hotel. And a nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The breakfast is awesome and different daily.
