The room was pretty nice and had all the amenities needed. The staff were pretty great: attentive and knowledgeable. We had asked for an HDMI cable and help with the TV. The maintenance guy came to us 10 minutes later to help. They did not have an adaptor but the fact that we received an answer promptly with no reminder is commendable. The location was amazing, close to everything. The restaurant downstairs was not bad too.

What I didn’t like was how the pricing changed from what Booking.com advertised and ended up being way more expensive!! I kind of feel taken by Booking.com!!!

The building had a nice, stylish and pleasant feel. Location was ideal - near downtown but also in a quiet neighborhood nice for walking.
Breakfast could be improved with fresher pastries.

The rooms were quiet. Shower was great. Breakfast buffet is not great. No fresh fruit. Eggs not good. Paper plates I can deal with but plastic utensils are useless! Knives don’t even cut through a waffle or butter!
Just tears things up.
Lousy. I went to Tim Hortons on final day. I had it with trying to deal with it.

Charlottetown offered a lot of eating, shopping, and walking options that were closeby. Ii was also a great place from which to travel to other parts of the island and return each night. We traveled to many beaches - all convenient from Charlottetown. A definite must see for its beauty

We enjoyed walking around the harbour area - Peakes Quay has many food kiosks and souvenir shops - we enjoyed a drink at the tiki bar. We ate outside at John Browns on Richmond street. The food was fine but what made it special was the live music directly opposite on the street.
Syney Street was also recommended to us for some good restaurants.
We found it easy to walk around the town and free parking was available on many of the streets.

We had a lot of options, but many were overpriced for what they were. Definitely a tourist place, with pricing to match. Local shopping was not the greatest, and tourist-type shopping was very similar to other, better options. I enjoyed the historic homes on the water, and Victoria Park, but was disappointed by the offerings at the Farmers Markets

We absolutely love Charlottetown!
We absolutely love Charlottetown! There are many great restaurants and pubs; some down by the waterfront that are some of the best!! The Olde Dublin Pub, 131 Sydney Street, Charlottetown is energetic and exciting; young and enthusiastic and we are semi-retired and really enjoyed it. The background music could make you want to get up and dance. It really is one of the best places to go for an evening. Cost of food was as normal as it is in most other restaurants. We loved every minute of it.

This was my second trip to Charlottetown.
This was my second trip to Charlottetown. The first was many years ago. The city is abundantly interesting, with both older and newer buildings. The older ones are far more interesting. It has a very historic sense and feel about it. And of course, it is right on the atlantic, which makes it vastly more interesting. We went out there for the Anne of Green Gables tour and attractions, and even though you could see them easily within a day, they did not disappoint. People were generally quite down to earth and friendly.
The hotel scared me at first. I thought I chose the sketchiest hotel in Charlottetown, but once you go inside, you see how nice and clean it is. The rooms were spacious, and so was the washroom. I'm traveling the east coast this week, and it's one of the bigger rooms around that I have stayed in. The location was great as well. It was only a few minutes to everything.
Hanna was wonderful. She reached out to me before we checked in to make sure she was ready for us. It’s a very easy walk to get to downtown Charlottetown. The bed and breakfast is very charming as the name implies!
If you are planning to visit Charlottetown you will need a vehicle, this location is mins from downtown. The beds and room sizes are excellent. Everything is new and we had a lovely stay.
Clean, comfortable room in a gorgeous historic building. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location from which to walk to Charlottetown’s downtown and waterfront.
