The camp is beautifully laid out and positioned right next to the sand dunes for easy access to see the sunset and sunrise; both a must do experience. The facilities are all super; the camp uses solar power so there’s electricity in every tent and an en suite with a fantastic hot water shower. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we loved spending time with them in the evening by the camp fire playing music, chatting with them other guests and looking at the amazing night sky. it was easy to book activities or to just grab a sand board and give that a go! We stayed for 2 nights and did a private tour of the desert which was fab, as well as a camel ride to watch the sunset. We were also happy that there weren’t other camps close by - we could enjoy watching the sun rise in a private setting. Thank you for the staff for going the extra mile to make our engagement in the desert extra special!

The owner greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. He did not push for us to go on extra excursions nor did he request us to focus on checking in immediately. He made it clear we were to focus on getting comfortable after our long journey. He spent time getting to know us and set a beautiful candlelit dinner up for us by the pool. The next day he drove us to the nearest village where we could buy lunch, and supplies for our stay in a desert camp the next day. He also drove us to our meeting point after check out. All of this at no extra charge. He also provided us with his contact details in case we hit any snags during our stay in the area. Our room was perfect with plenty of space.
We were also given a tour of the hotel and I can attest that the other rooms were also stunning.

We did the one night tour with the camel treck, staying in the luxury camp, and it was amazing. Everything was perfectly organised, Hassan was very helpful and every step of the tour was a pleasure, and the people involved were nice and accommodating. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

Camping in Desert is incredible. We stayed in Mirage Luxury camp for one night and the staffs gave us a very warm welcome. Staff are friendly and room is comfortable. Surprisingly, the camp provides dinner and breakfast and it is the best meals we had during our stay in Morocco. We enjoyed the camp fire with traditional berber's music after dinner. Everything is just so perfect in Mirage Luxury camp for the first moment we arrived there to the time we left.
Thank you for making our Moroccan trip wonderful
The location was perfect. The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. The staff were so helpful and always smiling. The dinner was great and served on a roof terrace where we could see the stars. The hotel arranged our jeep around the desert and then a sunset camel ride which was perfect. Both Hassan and Assou spent time with us and made sure our stay was perfect. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Amazing luxury camp in the middle of the Sahara. Hard to believe a high-end accommodation like this with fully equipped rooms is available in the desert. A must see site with beautiful people. A unique stay and experience to enjoy camel rides, Berber music, dance by the fire, and a sky full of stars. If you’re visiting Morocco, you shouldn’t miss Sunset Camp Merzouga .
The hotel is located in the desert and the view is amazing! The tents are very beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was so kind and friendly! The food (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had in our whole stay in Morocco, very tasty and with a big variety! In the night they provided traditional music and dance by the fire!
The location was great right opposite Hassilabied one of the largest sand dunes in Merzouga. The food was (now after 3 more hotels) honestly the best we have had and great value at 8 euros per person. The owner was very hospitable and the hotel a real treat after a night in the desert with excellent wifi coverage.
