My two-day stay at Dihya Desert was nothing short of delightful. Nestled beside the sand dunes, the campsite boasts a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The tents are generously spacious and furnished with all the amenities you'd expect in a hotel room, including private bathrooms and toilets. Stepping outside, you're immediately greeted by the warm sand of the desert beneath your feet. I had the pleasure of partaking in a camel ride and jeep safari, with the former at sunset being an absolute must-do. The food and tea were delicious, and the staff's exceptional warmth and helpfulness truly impressed me. A charming heart-shaped swing positioned beside the tents was a thoughtful touch. All in all, Dihya Desert is an extraordinary retreat for those seeking to relish in the desert's striking beauty

We got lucky and got upgraded to the luxury camp - the naming is a bit confusing thou.
In any case, in the berber camp the room/tent was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated,
The staff were very nice and helpful.
We enjoyed camel riding on the way into the desert, but we recommend to go back on the check out day by 4x4 to enjoy a different experience in the dunes. And ATV quad was amazing

I ended choosing this place after have booked an activity at the desert where the meeting point would be in this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure every need was met. They even came to pick us up at the bus and arranged a taxi to the Errachidia airport for our return flight. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with both good taste and comfort. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details, like the comfortable mattresses, the good quality linens and towels. The outstanding breakfas truly made mornings enjoyable and the dinner was pleasing — the meals were both tasty and beautifully presented. The pool area felt like an oasis, perfect for relaxation on chaise longe with beach towels available for free. I've been in many places across Morocco and I would definitely recommend this place.

Merzouga is a small village located in southeastern Morocco,...
Merzouga is a small village located in southeastern Morocco, known for its spectacular sand dunes and desert landscape. The dunes in Merzouga are part of the Erg Chebbi dune complex, which includes some of the highest and most stunning sand dunes in the Sahara Desert.
These dunes are often referred to as the "golden dunes" due to their beautiful orange color, especially at sunrise and sunset when the light creates a magical effect on the sand. The dunes in Merzouga can reach heights of up to 500 feet, providing visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding desert landscape.
Many tourists visit Merzouga to experience the unique sensation of being surrounded by vast stretches of pristine sand dunes. One popular activity is to go on a camel trek into the dunes, where travelers can ride camels and immerse themselves in the peaceful and serene desert environment. Spending a night in a traditional Berber desert camp is also a highlight for many visitors, offering the chance to see a spectacular starry sky and experience Berber hospitality and cuisine.
In addition to camel treks and desert camps, visitors to Merzouga can also enjoy activities such as sandboarding down the dunes, taking a 4x4 desert tour, or simply relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the desert landscape. The area is also home to indigenous Berber communities, and travelers have the opportunity to learn about their culture and way of life.
Overall, Merzouga's sand dunes offer a unique and unforgettable experience for those looking to explore the beauty of the Sahara Desert and immerse themselves in the tranquility of this stunning natural landscape.

1 night in Merzouga desert, We took a camel ride out to Global Luxury Camp- which in itself is an awesome experience, but once we got to the camp. - it was extraordinary - the food was excellent - the best dinner we had in Morocco, The view of the desert very beautiful, we enjoyed sunset and sunrise in the middle of the desert, and all of the staff were welcoming. The tents are luxurious. Their attention to protecting the environment is also admirable. This was a huge highlight of our 10 days in Morocco!
One of the reasons why we traveled to Morocco was to experience the Tented Camp in the Sahara Desert. Since the weather was overcast the evening we arrived, we were unable to view the sunset. The next morning, Hassan took us for a ride through the sand dunes on his 4x4 which was exiciting and a highlight of our adventure. The staff were kind & very accommodating. Thank you Luxury Tented Erb Chebbi Camp.
The most memorable experience of the trip was undoubtedly our stay in the desert. When visiting Morocco, you must come to Merzouga and stay here! It was a truly remarkable encounter. The service was outstanding, the meals were terrific, and the tents were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the music and the bonfire. We greatly appreciate their attentiveness in making our stay more enjoyable.
"A stay in a luxury camp is a journey into the lap of desert luxury. The spacious and well-appointed tents, complemented by the stunning backdrop of the Sahara, create a magical ambiance. The camp's commitment to sustainability and local culture, combined with impeccable service, made our time here not just a stay, but a soulful adventure in the heart of Morocco."
One of the most beautiful hotels we stayed in Morocco. Close to dunes (15 min walking) and offering all the services - from delicious dinners to tours around the desert. Definitely recommended. 10/10
