We were a large group (15) but the staff made sure we could always sit together at breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful and very attentive, remembering our names, room numbers etc and looking out for the younger members of the group.
The sea was just a second way and the children enjoyed playing on the beach as well as in the pools

Location is great. Walking distance to old town. Comfortable bed. Functional room but it is basic. Room was clean but we had to move rooms after unpacking as tv didn’t work. Parking onsite in underground car park is useful. You pay per day but it can often be full and can’t be pre booked. There’s a bar in reception area but drink selection is limited. Staff are efficient.

Very basic hotel. It is what it is. It was clean and comfortable enough for one night. Location is good. It's a budget hotel. Nothing special. Bathrooms a good size though. There are building works going on outside the home. Something to bear in mind. Bring your own water.

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

A vibrant city with interesting museums, architecture, shops. A huge range of places to eat and drink but it did get very crowded in the central area in the evenings but it was easy to get away from crowds in the back streets. Good transport to/from the airport and around the city and beyond.

This is an extremely beautiful city, we enjoyed museums, parks and sea coast - this is a unique combination of cultural and health recreation. At the beginning, we planned to visit Seville and Granada as well, but there were so many interesting things in Málaga that we stayed here for 11 days.

Hotel Larios has a very central location. Double room is spacious and clean. We stayed at an indoor unit as we spend most of the time out of the room.
The Terrace is worth a visit for a great view. The personnel there was friendly. We were recommended an after dinner digestive drink. We had an Orujo and a Pacharan. We slept very well that night.

Malaga is a gem on Spain’s Costa del Sol!
Malaga is a gem on Spain’s Costa del Sol! This vibrant city seamlessly blends historical charm with modern attractions. The old town is a maze of narrow streets, lively plazas, and stunning architecture, highlighted by the magnificent Malaga Cathedral and the ancient Alcazaba fortress. The Picasso Museum is a must-visit, celebrating the city’s most famous son. The beaches are beautiful, perfect for relaxing under the Mediterranean sun. The culinary scene is exceptional, with a mix of traditional tapas bars and innovative restaurants. Malaga’s nightlife is lively, offering everything from cozy flamenco bars to chic rooftop lounges. Overall, Malaga is a delightful destination that caters to history buffs, art lovers, and beachgoers alike. Highly recommended!
A beautiful quiet little hotel in a great location on the edge of the old town centre of Málaga, which provides relative peace and yet in few minutes one is in the very centre of the city. Decorated and furnished in simple luxury style with great taste and peaceful colour scales. The standard room was a good size and very comfortable. The stuff was lovely, cheerful and happy to help with anything. A good value for money.
The definition of boutique is definitely appropriate, I would rate the hotel, room, breakfast and staff more than a 10 if I could. It was one of the best hotel's we've stayed at, a 5 star memorable experience that we will won't forget. We would stay again if we return to Malaga!
The hotel is in an excellent location. just a few minutes walk to the heart of the old town and only 5 minutes walk to the train station for Malaga airport (a 12 minute train ride!). All the staff were welcoming and helpful. a great stay!
Immaculately clean modern boutique hotel. Conveniently situated in Old Town area and short walk to shops, visitor attractions and marina with easting places. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very wide choice of fresh breakfast items.
