one of the best cities in Egypt. Aswan Island were the best place to stay in. I ate at the hotel restaurant because it was the Nubian mom's homemade food. it's very easy to go around Aswan by the fairy or local cheap transportations.
young children can enjoy sailing, playing at gardens and also there are " Bakaar playground" and plaza mall.

Aswan is an important city due to the existence of the Aswan dam on the Nile River, which can be visited, there are beautiful ancient temples in the area, it surprised me positively with the vegetation and tasty Nubian cuisine. A boat ride on the Nile is worthwhile. Nubian colors add charm to the dish and handicrafts

Beautiful city, island life is very nice.
Beautiful city, island life is very nice. City side is bit dusty and noisy. Along the corniche suppose to be very great place for evening walk. However there are too many people approach you asking if you need taxi, boat, cruise ect.. even kids running behind try to sell you a tissue.. December we are here so weather is very nice.

The trip to Abu Simbel is definitely worthwhile and was easily arranged through the staff here. I have heard the Nubian museum is very good. Philae Temple is also a very good trip, however the tours usually include a visit to the Aswan dam. The visit to the dam was 200 EGP, and I would recommend against paying this. Instead, you can stay sitting in the car and see the same as those paying. I did a late afternoon visit to St Simeon's monastery, accompanied by Eslam. It is an easy 10 minute walk up and was great fun running around in the desert in the late afternoon sun. The Nubean village was pretty, however Elephantine Island is much more authentic. The archeological area and small museum at the southern tip of the island was so-so.

One of the most stunning regions along the Nile river is in Aswan. The picturesque Philae temple is accessed via a boat and the entire region has stunning rock formations that compliment the impressive temple. It’s magical sailing into Philae temple. On the other side, Felluca boats dominate the Nile and create the most charming atmosphere with the backdrop of tomb sites on a desert sand mountain. A quick boat ride takes you to the Nubian village where you can indulge in shopping Nubian handicrafts and amazing Nubian food. Nubian village is so colorful and filled with the most warm people.

We had an exceptional and unforgettable stay from the moment we entered the hotel, and everything was wonderful. All the staff were wonderful, especially the young man at the reception. They offered us tours that were very enjoyable to visit the pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, Alexandria, and the White Desert, accompanied by our guide (Marwa). He met all our needs and it was an excellent experience. Very enjoyable, and the view of the rooftop from the top was very good, especially the Bedouin tent. I loved everything there. I recommend it.
Amazing service from the staff (Rena&Rena) and the managers Tahir and Esraa for sorting out a booking site issue with no problems My deepest thanks :-)
It was no problem leaving at 4M for an early drive to Abu Simbel - the 10 minute ferry runs all night and a continental breakfast from 3am with a foil takeout box upon asking.
The 360 panorama is absolutely spectacular and a great choice over the Cataract Hotel - thankyou for the room upgrade to a wonderful garden suite - it was greatly appreciated 😊
I was a little sceptical about the near perfect reviews this place has, until we had the pleasure of spending our time there. Kafana is a wonderful honest host, who works extraordinary hard to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. The place is literally next to the river on the beautiful elephantine island (easy to get back and forth from the mainland via guesthouse private motorboat) and attached is a fantastic restaurant. Forgo hotels or 5 star resorts - if you can stay here, do it!
Location at the top of a hill it has great views to the Nile, the Old Cataract Hotel and the city. Very near the Nubean Museum and the u finished Obelisk. Everyone working at the hotel was extremely friendly and always smiling. The hotel shares facilities with a sister hotel next door.
Big up to Sherif and Mohamed, very good people and services. The breakfast was very good for an Egyptian Hotel well done.
And the localisation is insane, the cafe is literally in front of the Nil
