Hardangerpark AS provides a very quiet environment (at that period prior to Christmas !) and a fair price. Although they are located in the other building, the living room and kitchen are fine and well equipment.
It was a very nice way towards the place we stayed.
It was a very nice way towards the place we stayed. It was great seeing all those famous fruit gardens of Hardanger. It wasn't easy finding the place, though, as we didn't get at first that the whole village is called Lofthus.
At the foot of the mountain by the road there was a very nice little French looking stone church with a cemetery. It was nice visiting it, taking pictures there and feeling the serene atmosphere.

After needing to cancel and change plans twice prior to this trip the staff were very helpful in getting us re-booked, and after two years of waiting to visit Norway we'd been looking forward to the Ullensvang hotel as a highlight for a long time. It was a very enjoyable stay and everything that we'd hoped for.
Amazing stay with view on the fjord. Very tasty breakfast. Confortable beds.
As big plus was for us small fridge on the corridor.

We were quite pleased with this hotel.
The room has its own bathroom, kitchen available (although it could really be better equipped!), very nice area with view on the Fjord and a garden with some relaxing spots.
Beds are comfortable and the hotel is equipped also with a sauna which we used.
Lovely hotel, with friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is beautiful, and well maintained with a good breakfast. We ate dinner one night, and it was very tasty.
