Practical for a night or two. It was a good experience in general, convenient if you are coming from Trolltunga hike.
It was a very nice way towards the place we stayed.
It was a very nice way towards the place we stayed. It was great seeing all those famous fruit gardens of Hardanger. It wasn't easy finding the place, though, as we didn't get at first that the whole village is called Lofthus.
At the foot of the mountain by the road there was a very nice little French looking stone church with a cemetery. It was nice visiting it, taking pictures there and feeling the serene atmosphere.
Amazing stay with view on the fjord. Very tasty breakfast. Confortable beds.

Beautifully located with a view over the fjord. Many great hikes are accessible by public transport if you get up early enough to catch the morning bus just leaving at the road below the hotel. Breakfast was very good! Nicely maintained facilities to cook in the evening.
The view is breathtaking, the rooms are a bit old-style but still nice, pool and sauna are extremely good and all with fjord view, the whole hotel area with own fjord shore could not be better
Lovely hotel, with friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is beautiful, and well maintained with a good breakfast. We ate dinner one night, and it was very tasty.
