A bit run down . Restaurant food was bad, bland and took long time to be served, even when no other guests.

Such a nice place with a beautiful green garden and cozy, clean and comfortable cottages. The staff was very friendly and de location is great, as it is both quiet and close to the main road of Amed. We stayed for four days with our daughter (4 yrs) who loved to play in this beautiful and safe environment (with a few free roaming bunnies). Very recommended (with or without kids).

Blue Earth Village, I can't recommend it enough!! Such a gem, great restaurant, beautiful food, beautiful view of the ocean. I wished they continued the pub-quizes, especially during rainy nights ;)! Also the view of the yoga-shala is mesmerizing! x

Amed was beautiful.
Amed was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed Lahangan Sweet, the most beautiful ride and view! We also went to the best Warung with some of the best live music and food we’ve come across, Warung Agung - it’s an absolute must try.
The locals were lovely!
We aren’t ocean people, and Amed is a snorkelling and diving town, but we still loved it anyway. Pretty views, good food, cute boutiques and good spas.

Amed was a fun place to visit.
Amed was a fun place to visit. We enjoyed the snorkeling a lot. The food was fantastic, especially the tropical fruit, fresh fish with coconut sauce, and "satay lilit", a dish we had never eaten before. (Blue Star, Warung Amsha, Rimba Cafe, and Villa Tradisi were all great!) Most of Amed now has a sidewalk, which makes it a lot easier to walk through town. Otherwise, it can feel a little dangerous to walk along the narrow, busy road. It's also possible to walk along the entire beach at lower tides, but it's pretty rocky in a lot of places. The things I didn't like so much were the many taxi drivers asking us if we needed a ride and the roaming salespeople trying to sell their wares while we were eating.

Amed is a much nicer part of Bali than I usually visit.
Amed is a much nicer part of Bali than I usually visit. Currently living at Uluwatu and have stayed at Canngu and Seminyak before. All are being overrun by tourists (yes, like me) and are starting to price themselves out over other SE Asian countries. Amed was a beautiful little spot with everything you need. The sea life was incredible, anyone who goes should organise snorkelling or diving, which Amed is known for. I was lucky enough to find a good driver who took me into his local village and showed me some sights. Experiences I will never forget and will remember fondly.

Fabulous place if you like to get out of the rat race of Seminyak and Kuta etc. Fewer tourists great snorkeling/diving, lipah beach being amazing. Great to jump on a Scooter and go thought the little villages, we delivered soccer balls to a couple of local school which was a lovely experience.

We planned to stay in Amed for two nights and ended up staying for a week. It was amazing and everyday we had a new adventure. We loved the snorkelling and fishing, but mostly we loved meeting the local people and getting to know them and learn more about Indonesian culture.

One of our favourite hotels in Bali so far! It’s in the perfect location for finding great food, coffee, dive shops and the beach. The staff were really attentive and polite. The property is SPOTLESS and so well maintained, someone was always cleaning which really made a difference to our experience (no bugs or dirty bathrooms to worry about!) The pool is so inviting and again very clean.
Staff, location, facilities amazing! Two different pools with sun chairs, restaurant on other side of the street with the great breakfast (buffet style with many options, best we've had in Bali), sun chairs available by the beach, easy access to go snorkeling. Great spot with very kind and friendly staff!
Unbelievably friendly staff and the perfect location directly in front of a beautiful coral reef! the rooms are very spacious and offer everything you need. from our point of view, the best hotel we have been on Bali so far. especially if you consider the value for money aspect!! highly recommended!
The room is directly at the beach. The view is amazing and you can snorkel right in front of the building or book a tour with a boat. The location is truly even better than I imagined. The host is wonderful and makes sure you have everything. Plus she makes the best banana pancakes we had on Bali.
the view is unbeatable! the family who run this home stay are very lovely and helpful. Amed is a beautiful place, must see Bali destination. Homestay very close to popular snorkeling and beech bars. best views in Bali
