The location is beautiful and it is nice to be near the Krauma spa. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had a few questions. It was convenient to have a restaurant on site. The breakfast we paid for was ok.

Very quiet location, but not far from many interesting places like horse riding, thermal pools, waterfalls, nature interests.. Also the hot tub with 24/7 working is perfect. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, all very clean and practically furnished. Nice and helpfull hosts.

We enjoyed a beautiful stay in this cabin.
It was clean, very cozy and super quiet.
We brought some food supplies and were even able to cook dinner without any problems, which is a big plus in this quite remote location.
We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet. But there is a hotel there, location is good if you want to explore the western section of Iceland. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.

The hot tub was such a great way to end the day of exploring the Icelandic countryside. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fireplace was cozy. The beds were dreamy. Truly the best place I have ever stayed. I wish we could have spent more time.
The reception was more than welcoming, made us feel like home. They were also very helpful, answered all our questions.
I personally believe this was one our favorites stays in Iceland.
