Staff friendly and very accommodating. Spacious bar downstairs used by locals and residents with tv. Upstairs restaurant with amazing sea views, lovely food. Nardinis ice cream parlour and fish and chip premises is rightly famous, well worth a visit. So is the lovely Haylies hotel farther on for steak etc. The Seamill Hydro next door is a fab hotel with a lovely pool but does loads of weddings. There is lots more too.
There is the wonderful nearby coastal walk near Portencross and a castle there to see.

I found Seamill Hydro to be very comfortable. I have a nice large bathroom which was well appointed. I enjoyed using the spa facilities. The food was good, not fancy just good. The is a lovely beach walk to enjoy as well.

Stunning location, comfortable, clean room with amazing bathroom, ours had a TV above the bath. Staff were all fabulous 👌

Staff were all very good and we had a very pleasant stay ! Breakfast needs a wee bit of attention but over all would recommend this hotel everything was as expected bar staff worked very hard and always kept smiling and in the morning Holly on check out was busy but took everything in her stride and managed check out with a smile took time to chat to everyone even when she was busy 👍
Hotel and staff were very good 😊 breakfast and service was very good, only snag we did not like much on either of the dinner menus, so we dined next door which was Very good, but that was our choice. I would recommend the seamill hydro to anyone, our stay was very very good
The location was fantastic, views breathtaking and the hotel had a lovely flow throughout. Room was much larger than expected and jacuzzi bath a bonus. Staff pleasant. Lovely couches to enjoy pre and after dinner drinks. Will definitely return.
