The Park, hotel in Peebles

Located in the centre of Peebles, in the Scottish Borders, The Park offers a bar/restaurant and a garden. Free WiFi is available in public areas, and free private parking is possible onsite.

Great location for both Peebles town centre and Glentress mountain bike centre. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and very nice coffee shop/bakery on site. Room was not massive but was comfortable, quiet, and with a good shower. We had one of the cheaper rooms (view of the car park and some hills) but we did not mind as it was winter. In summer I think the rooms with a view would be worth the extra. We did not use the Hydro facilities but it’s a great option for those that want a swim or spa

Peebles is a lovely town, and has a good number and variety of shops. Many of the usual names are there but local and specialist shops are present and make this an interesting place to visit. Good walks up the Tweed and plenty to visit nearby if you are prepared to put in the effort.

A lovely little town. Great for all ages. A lovely park by the river for a nice stroll. Great play park for the kids also and if you have dogs its good for them too. The shops are good too. Nice to do a bit of Christmas shopping, you can alway pick up something different here. The icecream shop is something else.

Peebles is a lovely small town with some lovely individual shops, cafes and restaurants. We especially liked the Gaucho steak restaurant which had recently opened (near the theatre). Cocoa Black serve the most fabulous cakes and coffee. Coltman's Kitchen was lovely, wished I had booked! We visited Dawyck Botanical Gardens for a lovely walk and enjoyed a light lunch in the cafe.

A lovely Borders town with great local shops and cafés.

A lovely Borders town with great local shops and cafés. A couple of good attractions and a perfect base for the Scottish countryside. Don't forget to explore the half-mile railway tunnel nearby as well as Neidpath Gorge and viaduct and castle. St Andrew's Tower in the cemetery is worth a look. The Cross Kirk is worth visiting and there are two great bookshops, one new and one second-hand.

The apartment is wonderful! The location is ideal for a visit to Peebles, the view from the front over the green and the river makes a good people watching spot. It's a couple of minutes walk to the high street with all of its lovely shops and restaurants. All of the equipment, fittings and furnishings are of the highest standard which made for a very comfortable stay. Communications with our host, Julie were excellent too. Stay here you won't regret it!!

The host, Barry, was really helpful and easy to get a hold of when we needed him. He went out of his way to try and sort some issues that were out of his control. The property is cosy and has lots of character, and is in the perfect location for the high street and Peebles in general.

The hotel is very easy to find and is located a brief walk from the centre of Peebles. Parking is ample, and there is a charging point for electric vehicles which allowed me to leave with a full battery. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and comfortable.
