Beautiful old character inn in Midhurst. Excellent helpful staff in reception, bar and restaurant. Particularly enjoyed the fireplaces and comfy sofas in the lounge bar. Small comfortable room was perfect for me for a one night stay. Did not use the spa as I was busy exploring Midhurst. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant, but when I stay again next year will try and get them to set up a table for me in the lounge bar as it is so much cosier.
Conveniently placed on the A272 in the middle of Sussex countryside, this historic 5-star country inn encapsulates a balance between modern sensibility and rustic charm.
Located in Midhurst and with Goodwood Racecourse reachable within 15 km, Hamilton Arms Suites provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

EVERYTHING! It would be a perfect home in fact all you need in one place! And the cleanliness was super above expectations. THE SHOWER IS AMAZING! Also to top it off we had their own Thai food delivered and it was to date the best Thai food we have ever eaten. Thank you so much to the lovely hosts we will be back very soon!

We enjoyed walking around Cowdrey park and looking at the superb scenery. Midhurst is a nice place to see some quirky shops and some nice places to eat. Reason for visit was to see our daughter playing Felicity in "Relative Values", a light comedy by Noel Coward which was produced by Midhurst Players at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall.

Great area for walking with several trails nearby and good network of well maintained paths. Lots of history to explore and good selection of independent shops. Bus links to Petersfield, Chichester and Worthing via Petworth. I enjoyed Verdi's cafe for coffee and sandwiches.

Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/services you might need for a self catering stay but is also tranquil and attractive with lots of great walks in all directions. There's lots more in easy driving distance (and, mid August. the roads were very quiet) but Midhurst is a bus hub so with a bit of patience/planningyou can do quite a lot of exploring by public transport if you prefer. The planet will thank you :-)

Lovely town and swan in old centre, so close but not too busy. Nice square and church opposite. Seating on pavement to watch world go by. Good breakfast in cafe opposite. Staff very helpful. Good range of beers. Parked in centre by hotel, free. We stayed before walking south downs and wanted to return to explore town.
For us, the location is excellent being close to Midhurst and with easy reach to Petersfield and the other towns within the South Downs. The facility has a pub and Thai restaurant and the food is excellent.
The village the Hotel is situated in is pleasant to walk around in the evening or early morning.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. The food was amazing in taste and presentation which was unexpected. The hotel exuded a homely and comfortable atmosphere which made us feel very at home and has made it a place that we will go back to. Overall a wonderful and enjoyable stay.
