We've stayed at this hotel before as it is one of our favourites. We all agreed this was the best, due to the professionalism, charm & attitude of all the staff. Beds are really, really comfy.
The food has also improved and our breakfasts & meal were delicious. Spa & pool great.
I particularly love the candles and the scent as you enter the hotel. At this time of year the roaring fires are lit early so we were tempted to sit in the bar all day! It means it all feels really relaxing & welcoming.
Conveniently placed on the A272 in the middle of Sussex countryside, this historic 5-star country inn encapsulates a balance between modern sensibility and rustic charm.

Another great stay, this time my sister and myself were visiting our father in a nursing home in Chichester, ideal as we could have rooms nearby.
On average, it costs $379 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Midhurst for tonight. You'll pay around $156 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Midhurst will cost around $257, on average (based on Booking.com prices).

We enjoyed walking around Cowdrey park and looking at the superb scenery. Midhurst is a nice place to see some quirky shops and some nice places to eat. Reason for visit was to see our daughter playing Felicity in "Relative Values", a light comedy by Noel Coward which was produced by Midhurst Players at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall.

Great area for walking with several trails nearby and good network of well maintained paths. Lots of history to explore and good selection of independent shops. Bus links to Petersfield, Chichester and Worthing via Petworth. I enjoyed Verdi's cafe for coffee and sandwiches.

Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/services you might need for a self catering stay but is also tranquil and attractive with lots of great walks in all directions. There's lots more in easy driving distance (and, mid August. the roads were very quiet) but Midhurst is a bus hub so with a bit of patience/planningyou can do quite a lot of exploring by public transport if you prefer. The planet will thank you :-)

Great location, everything clean and ready to go. Lovely and spacious apartment and easy to use system to get the keys. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in midhurst. Helpful leaflets about local events and takeaways left for us and the heating was left on for us on a very cold day!
Very obliging host who was due to circumstances beyond her control, unable to be present. However, she was contactable and ensured that all was well during our stay.
Excellent location within walking distance of Midhurst town centre.
Great place to stay over Christmas, so handy for getting around Midhurst and the town.
Angie was lovely and so helpful and accommodating even on Christmas Day!
Thank you so much for everything.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Midhurst (we were staying for a nearby wedding). The breakfast offering was good in the nearby cafe they partner with across the road.
It was an excellent bespoke hotel

Period features throughout but with all the mod cons
Excellent spa
Friendly staff
Great attention to detail throughout
