The Bath Hotel offers a superb location, in the heart of the village and directly opposite Lynmouth Harbour and the Lyn River. An excellent breakfast is served every morning.

Very quaint.
Very quaint. It is known as Little Switzerland and certainly lives up to that name. We ate at our hotel The Rock House and at The Village Inn. Also breakfast one morning at The Rising Sun (sister hotel of The Rock House.)Everything is within walking distance. All the shops are gift shops or food outlets. Nearest small supermarkets are up in Lynton, easily accessed by the Cliff Railway. There are no Banks, Post Office or ATMs in Lynmouth. Most pubs and hotels only accept card payments.

We first came here 46 years ago on honeymoon so it was great to come back again for our anniversary (we have visited several times over the years) and not much has changed. It is still beautiful, friendly, quiet and a place we will return to again.

First class place to have a short break.
First class place to have a short break. Lots of walking around the area, good selection of shops, although the majority were closed due to staying in late November. Disappointed the railway wasn't working linking Linton.
The hotel is 14th century and has lots of history. It is situated in probably the most prime spot in Lynmouth with great views. The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant are both a tad dated but hey, it's an old building. The staff are great and very friendly and the food is of a pretty good standard.
Spacious and clean with modern and comfortable furniture. Ideally situated with a pleasant view. This lovely apartment was well equipped. Decor and accessories were well thought out and all high quality. Our host responded quickly to text messages and the lovely welcome of Devon cream tea was delightful.
The hotel is in a great position with fantastic views across the bay. It was very clean and well stocked in the tea and coffee department. It has an onsite restaurant and bar and the breakfast was excellent.
Location of the hotel is fantastic , overlooking the river and harbour. The food in both hotels ( see reason below) was very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
