The Bath Hotel offers a superb location, in the heart of the village and directly opposite Lynmouth Harbor and the Lyn River. An excellent breakfast is served every morning.

The hotel was lovely and in a fab location. We loved our room and the general ambience of the hotel. We were greeted by Darren who was very welcoming.
The facilities were great and I loved the copper bath.

This place was exceptional! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the house was very quaint (built in the 1800's). The breakfast was also excellent. I've been traveling all over the UK for over a month now, and this is probably the nicest place I've stayed.

Wonderful big English breakfast served with a smile and interest.
Loved the location and personal attention to preferences.
The building has thick walls and so internet was not possible in the rooms. But internet is possible in the pub and entrance lounge/outside seating at front door.
A stunning place to visit. Lynmouth has a lovely harbour and beach with shops and restaurants all close by and hotels and self catering accommodation. All are within keeping with the history and location of the town. We used the Cliff Railway to go up to the shops in Lynton and the Valley of the Rocks. And walked along the river to Watersmeet Tea Room run by the National Trust. There's a lovely playground near the harbour for small children and space for the dog to run around and play. A great place for couples, families, little ones and teenagers. But the thing we keep returning for is the trees along the river - just beautiful.

Evrywhere in Lynmouth is uphill.
Evrywhere in Lynmouth is uphill. It tries to retain its historic charm whilst inundated with tourists. The early mornings and evenings in Lynmouth are wonderfully relaxed quiet and totally at variant with the manic day times. The walks along the East Lyn and up to Lynton are incredible but not for the faint hearted. The temperate forest on the sides of the valleys was amazing. I will never forget it.

Very quaint.
Very quaint. It is known as Little Switzerland and certainly lives up to that name. We ate at our hotel The Rock House and at The Village Inn. Also breakfast one morning at The Rising Sun (sister hotel of The Rock House.)Everything is within walking distance. All the shops are gift shops or food outlets. Nearest small supermarkets are up in Lynton, easily accessed by the Cliff Railway. There are no Banks, Post Office or ATMs in Lynmouth. Most pubs and hotels only accept card payments.

We first came here 46 years ago on honeymoon so it was great to come back again for our anniversary (we have visited several times over the years) and not much has changed. It is still beautiful, friendly, quiet and a place we will return to again.

Jason and Yvonne made us feel completely at home and comfortable in their lovely hotel. Jason gave us some great recommendations for our day trip to Exmore National park. Jason even went as far as to jump start our car when the battery went flat.
We looked forward to the full English breakfast and coffee every day, which was delicious. The historic house is beautifully situated in Lynmouth. We would love to come back.
Spacious and clean with modern and comfortable furniture. Ideally situated with a pleasant view. This lovely apartment was well equipped. Decor and accessories were well thought out and all high quality. Our host responded quickly to text messages and the lovely welcome of Devon cream tea was delightful.
The Bath Hotel was very relaxed and informal..just what we were looking for. Staff very accommodating and efficient. Perfectly placed for all attractions
