Lovely period property, helpful staff, pubs and restaurants close. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Amazing nights sleep.
The Royal Pump Rooms are definitely worth visiting.
The Royal Pump Rooms are definitely worth visiting. There you will find a Tourist Information Centre with lots of leaflets to pick up, a library, art gallery, museum and cafe. On either side are the Jephson Gardens alongside the River Leam. There is lots of beautiful Regency architecture with decorative wrought iron railings. There are plenty of excellent shops alongside the Royal Parade, as well as good restaurants and cafes to be found. There are plenty of buses heading for Warwick to the west, Kenilworth, Coventry, historic properties, estates and gardens, etc.

A beautiful Regency town with some lovely parks and gardens to stroll around. There is also a towpath walk along the Grand Union canal and riverside gardens. The original architecture is well preserved and the newer buildings have been designed to tastefully blend in with the older areas. The 'High Street' appeared to be well populated with shops, with little sign of decline, in this obviously affluent area. There is also a plethora of niche and specialist retailers in the side streets. Altogether, well worth a visit.

Nice town, plenty of shops but on the decline like most towns with closed branches of large chains.

Unfortunately we were only visiting to take part in the National Bowls finals at Victoria Park so our short visit did not allow much time for exploring the town itself but what we saw looked interesting and a return visit may well be planned.

Lemington Spa is well known for his beautiful parks full of threes and flowers were you can go on a long walk and you never get bored.
Is close to the most important atraction in the area like Warwick castle and Stratford, the home of Shakespeare.
In this town we have plenty restaurant with very tasty and diverse food.
We arrived in Lemington Spa quite easily, from the airport in the center with a taxi in about 30 minutes.
I could have avoided walking 20 minutes to a take-away restaurant and had been more careful to what I ordered.

We were in Leamington Spa for the National Lawn Bowls Finals so we needed to be there for 17 nights but for tourists a shorter stay would suffice. It is a lovely town but two days would be sufficient for seeing local sites but Leamington is a good base for visiting the surrounding area.

We were at a wedding at Warwick house, so stayed at Angel Hotel, we checked in late due to wedding starting at 12.30 the young girl at reception was very kind and helpful, when we came down next morning to check out, she was there again, I commented how fresh she looked thinking she had been there all night.! She had been home, but back again to do morning shift. All the staff were lovley, serving at breakfast could not do enough. Room was nice and so clean.
Everything was spot on The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. We relaxed under the tree covered lawned area to the front of the property our Cockapoo Tilly loved to chill there. There is also an excellent doggie area for Tilly to 'spend a penny'. nothing was a problem for the staff who were friendly. Situated two miles from Leamington Spa town worth a visit. Also only Twenty minutes from Stratford upon Avon a must to visit.
Very pleasantly surprised by VPL. Was the cheapest hotel available, yet it was also the only central hotel with ample parking. Room was very clean, hot shower worked, wifi worked, tea and coffee in the room all there, breakfast included (I didn't eat though, I didn't have time in the mornings). I'm a frequent traveller and it's rare that I can tick all these boxes for a budget hotel.
Maria & Phil were very welcoming and lovely hosts. We were able to check in early. Room was beautiful, comfortable and view over the pond was so peaceful. Can't wait to find another reason to visit Leamington Spa to stay here again. Little piece of paradise.
Elegant hotel on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice room be it a little small. Full size desk and comfortable chair (10 out of 10 for this).
