I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, better than the Riverside Hotel I stayed in last New Year. We did not receive breakfast as it was New Year's Day.
The beach is about a 5-10 minutes drive away for nice walks.
The beach is about a 5-10 minutes drive away for nice walks. Irvine town centre is about a 5 minute walk but there doesn't seem to be a lot in it. The hotel is on the bus route to Irvine town centre.

Very conveniently located little guest house that I have visited on numerous occasions. Really handy as a launchpad for the local area. Lovely location right in Irvine Harbourside, which is conveniently located to numerous quality places to eat. Free car parking outside.
Basic, but comfortable & great accommodation. Clean, and friendly staff. Happened to walk past the house-keeper, Wallace, as I was leaving, who offered to lift my bags to the car for me.
Just great in every way. Jimmy and the family have a beautiful place and genuinely care . Was clean , lovely decorated rooms, great communal area that felt like your home rather than a hotel bar area, breakfast was all freshly cooked to what ever you wanted , Good WiFi, nice strong shower .Just a generally relaxing , quiet stay with welcoming staff.
We had our pet Cocker Spaniel and really liked the way the hotel has a "pet area" where we could be served our Dinner and Breakfast. We thought was great value for D, B and B rate.. Plenty of grass areas and the Riverside walk was lovely.
