Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

The setting was stunning, inside its furnished to a highly high standard and is immaculately clean. It’s was the perfect cosy tranquil place to recharge.
In a gated development, Millers House provides light and elegant rooms with 32-inch TVs, just 10 minutes’ walk from Emsworth’s centre.

We had a lovely stay at Millers House, the owner was very kind! All the facilities were perfect, bed was beyond comfortable. We felt very secure as it is a closed gate community. We couldn't hear any noises from the road or trains. The location is super convenient, next to the train station and the village center. The room was spotless! We will definitely come back!

Emsworth is a small town with plenty of good pubs and restaurants.
We ate at JJs and had an excellent meal.
There were limited options as it was nearly 4pm and may pubs had stopped their lunch service.

Emsworth is a lovely town on the coast.
Emsworth is a lovely town on the coast. Very unspoilt and with a nice selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Great location for walking along the beautiful coastline or a short drive to the South Downs Way. People are very friendly and it never seems too crowded.

There is a pretty walk around the harbour with seats overlooking the water. I particularly enjoyed looking at the architecture and would have preferred to access some sort of guide explaining its history and other interesting facts. Emsworth was very quiet when I visited in mid September despite the weather being warm. But we used it as a base to explore the really pretty inlets around

Lovely waterside town with a good selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Good for walking and taking in the local scenery as well as being a useful base for trips into Portsmouth or to Goodwood Races.

There was a good choice of places to eat for an Evening meal. I chose JJ`s & was very happy with my choice. It seems very popular & had a `buzz` about it. I walked from my B&B for about 15mins to the centre of Emsworth.
Friends met me on day 2 & they chose Driftwood Cafe to have a catch-up & a coffee in. That to was very popular & we were well taken care of. I admired a number of paintings on the walls by a local artist.
Also a little shop `Karen George` caught my eye as there was a lovely jumpsuit in the side window & a nice Summer dress in the front window. However, I tried on a trendy green Robell jacket that complimented a jumpsuit I was wearing & that would go with a number of other outfits.
All in all a lovely stay in the area.

Nice village , strolled around the harbour and village which was pleasant . Lots of options for eating and all seemed to be busy . I would stay in the same B and B and visit the village again and also use it for a base to visit further afield.

Hotel location is very close to the train station and very convenient to the centre of Emsworth. The hotel and room were clean and tidy. The location was very quiet and peaceful, we had a very good night sleep. Breakfast was very delicious and fresh. The host was very lovely and helpful. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I travel to Emsworth next.
love the revamp, stayed here when it was the old hotel. Room very nice, my husband was a bit worried what a dog room would be like, but he was very impressed. Our dog was a little stressed at the beginning ( her 1st time in a hotel) but soon settled. loved the little gift for her, and the treats for us. I found the bed very comfortable.
The host is very kind and generous,The location is right in the town of Emsworth.,a very beautiful historic town. The room is big and clean with comfy bed. Breakfast is simple with good quality stuffs, that's all we need. The host gave us lot of privacy, We had a really good time here.
