Well decorated, clean room, comfortable .bed, fair sized bathroom and radio. The three course meal was delicious, sauvignon blanc and primitivo wines tasty and the service excellent.

Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

It was the perfect B&B.
We had a very friendly welcome at this property. The room was really clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with two comfortable chairs, a thing that is often lacking.
The breakfasts were excellent and of top quality, with fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals, freshly cooked full English and other cooked choices, with toast, tea or coffee.
It was a novelty to be welcomed by the alpacas, goats and chickens at the back of the property, and a delight to be in the countryside, yet close to Emsworth and not far from Chichester. Emsworth is very pleasant, with a selection of shops, eating places and a quaint harbour, graced by swans and cygnets. Chichester is a delightful city to visit, with a cathedral and an excellent theatre, with a large variety of shops.

A great location for us. Close to Goodwood where we attended the Revival and very characterful, quiet and rural. The Shepherds hut was cosy and comfortable and bathroom facilities, which we are very short walk away, clean and functional. The host was generous allowing us to use the private laundry facilities for access to mains electricity to get ready for the Revival.
Set in Emsworth and only 17 km from Goodwood Motor Circuit, Hollybank House offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Emsworth is a lovely town on the coast. Very unspoilt and with a nice selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Great location for walking along the beautiful coastline or a short drive to the South Downs Way. People are very friendly and it never seems too crowded.

There is a pretty walk around the harbour with seats overlooking the water. I particularly enjoyed looking at the architecture and would have preferred to access some sort of guide explaining its history and other interesting facts. Emsworth was very quiet when I visited in mid September despite the weather being warm. But we used it as a base to explore the really pretty inlets around

There was a good choice of places to eat for an Evening meal. I chose JJ`s & was very happy with my choice. It seems very popular & had a `buzz` about it. I walked from my B&B for about 15mins to the centre of Emsworth.
Friends met me on day 2 & they chose Driftwood Cafe to have a catch-up & a coffee in. That to was very popular & we were well taken care of. I admired a number of paintings on the walls by a local artist.
Also a little shop `Karen George` caught my eye as there was a lovely jumpsuit in the side window & a nice Summer dress in the front window. However, I tried on a trendy green Robell jacket that complimented a jumpsuit I was wearing & that would go with a number of other outfits.
All in all a lovely stay in the area.

Nice village , strolled around the harbour and village which was pleasant . Lots of options for eating and all seemed to be busy . I would stay in the same B and B and visit the village again and also use it for a base to visit further afield.

We enjoyed the splendour of a country house with excellent personal service for the owners who made us extremely welcome. It made a very pleasant change from the impersonal service of a hotel.
Food was local where possible and we were served with a lovely breakfast and possibly the best scrambled eggs we have eaten in a very long time!
Portsmouth isn't far away so plenty to see and do in the area.
Would love to return.
