The hotel was located exactly where we needed to be for our stay, so it was very convenient. Check in was really easy and the room was clean, tidy and a decent size. There were toiletries and a tea/coffee tray for us to use also.

Keith, the host was amazing and breakfast was the best I've had in some time, freshly made to order with beautiful local ingredients including home made bread!

Lovely stay for the Great North Run not too far from Newcastle. John was an amazing host that makes you feel welcome in his home and comes across as a genuinely friendly and kind person. The property was clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the plant-based breakfast was great.

It is in a pretty part of the world. About a five minute walk for the house in Shotley Bridge is a Restaurant "Sale &Pepe" basically Italian but with other cuisine as well. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we went two days in a row.

The room was ok but it had a few things that didn't work the way they should have. Dinner and breakfast needed more staff. This could have been to Covid issue but one or two more staff would have been helpful to all.

plenty of things to do around consett with only approximately twenty miles from Newcastle on tyne and beamish museum not to far away either and also allensford camping and caravan park not to far away also derwent resevoir not to far away either and plenty places to walk just outside consett
The location just outside Consett is very nice and there are many animals nearby. Our room was clean, comfortably furnished and had a very large, comfortable bed. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is amply sized if you want. There is also plenty to do for families with children, e.g. a petting corner, alpacas, donkey etc. We give *****.
Nice quiet location with easy access to Consett and beyond, nice spacious accommodation with everything u needed, the kitchen had all the home comforts of washing machine, dishwasher etc, plenty of room for 4 people also penty of parking on the road
