I'd booked a double mistakenly for a twin accessible room and there were no twins available. Alternatives were offered and compromises made by very helpful staff who couldnt have done more.

For a 100 year old house it was immaculately clean and tidy plenty of towels in the en suite and tea and coffee in the room the owners where lovely and greeted us on arrival
The breakfast was excellent and the eggs were from their own chickens . The was no push to get us out on the morning of departure and allowed us longer than the 10 am checkout advertised . Will definitely be back many thanks.

Exceptional beautiful property finished to a high standard. Hosts were accommodating in allowing us in 30 mins early. Will agree with some of the other comments about layout which was challenging with two teenage children trying to access the bedroom and bathroom and keep their privacy.
I did misread about the facilities provide so was disappointed with lack of kitchen appliances and would highly recommend exchanging such a large fridge / freezer with something smaller given there is no kitchen and utilise the space with an area and provide maybe an air fryer?
Styled like a French chateau, this historical manor is 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse. It has a relaxing spa with swimming pool and gym, and boasts an AA Rosette-rated restaurant.

Not an awful lot around Camberley, The Rose and Thistle at Frimley Green is a nice pub with a good menu. There seems to be plenty of places to eat within a 5 mile radius.
We stayed in the area because we went to Wisley Gardens it was a reasonable travel distance.

I have grown up near Camberley.
I have grown up near Camberley. For me, it is a functional, not unpleasant town, that is well-located for access the M3, and certain attractions like Virginia Water, Saville Gardens, Legoland / Windsor Castle, Farnborough Air Show - and a big M+S + Tesco! Plus has nice facilities like Vue multiscreen cinema. The Military Academy's annual heritage day is worth a visit. Otherwise you can't get in there!
I don't think it is a tourist destination in and of itself, however.

If you like a real retro hotel experience this is the place to come to. It must have been the height of luxury in the 1980's. Great location geographically and we slept well but a makeover would we well worth the investment as the location next to the lake is superb. The hotel is clean and well run, and car parking excellent.
Weird layout with steps up to 1st Floor Reception and if you have heavy bags it is a real climb however to the right of the entrance porch there is a lift up to Floor 0. A bus load of ladies arrived when we did, and all lugged their heavy bags up these steps. I am disabled on an electric buggy so needed this lift.

I really felt the room was a good size there was tea, coffee and even hot chocolate in the Room with a nice en suite bathroom with a good size bed and TV. The Restaurant and bar and staff was really pleasant staff were very helpful and friendly and there was plenty of free parking.
I was staying there when I visited the British motor show travel time to the show was not long.

Accessible to supermarkets, drive through and a range of pubs and restaurants as well as being close enough to travel to Windsor.
We ate in a local pub ‘The Forresters’ and were able to get a nice coffee from the local Costa when the hotel wouldn’t serve one!!

Lovely hotel with period features in spacious grounds. Spacious comfy room and bed. The swimming pool and spa area is great.
Nice but not amazing dinner in the restaurant but really incredible breakfast with hot and cold buffet as well as dishes to order from an extensive menu.
Location was brilliant, really easy to get to. House was perfect for us, we had a great time. Great parking. Lovely social space and dining area. We really loved it.
