Loved the kitchenette and facilities (including coffee machine, fridge microwave etc as wasn’t expecting that). Also, we were given a lovely bottle of champagne on our wedding anniversary which was a really lovely and touching surprise! Great that we could log in on the smart tv, really nicely decorated room and bathroom. Would definitely recommend!

Berwick is an undiscovered gem! There is loads to see and do, both in the town and beyond, especially on foot. Derek Sharman's guided local history tour is recommended, as is the self-guided Lowry Trail. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Honestly can't understand why this place isn't more of a tourist hot-spot!

I do not have a car but in Berwick on Tweed there are trains and plenty of buses for you stay to get you to beautiful coastal villages such as Coldingham and St Abbs. There are a choice of splendid eating places, such as Coulls fish and chip restaurant and the very popular Turkish restaurant in Bridge Street. There is a lovely walk alongside the peaceful riverside , ending in the picturesque castle vale gardens near the famous viaduct with its view of the remains of the stone wall protecting Berwick of old!

berwick is a border town, the most northerly, I don't drive but a car is useful if you have one, but regular train services and if you download the borders buses app on your phone, a good starting point for trips to Kelso, Galashiels and Eyemouth amongst others. I visited the barracks museum and good walking as well as good restaurants in the area as well. Lots of local independent shops and no need to take toilteries as several shops sell at good price

A quiet place with bags of history, some fine buildings not just military. The Military museum is certainly worth a visit as it also contains the town's museum. The battlements are worth the walk around as is heading out to the lighthouse. Some very good pubs. Very friendly place. Easy bus ride down to Holy Island.

Location amazing. Room size was decent. This is a hostel so do not expect 5 star luxury hotel. Overall Good experience. Very reasonable price.
The hotel is lovely and the rooms furnished beautifully. There's a little lounge downstairs with free snacks and hot drinks. Not far from Berwick centre or the ramparts walk. Great communication from Craig throughout the stay.
Really lovely welcoming hotel. Staff were so lovely and genuinely friendly. Hotel stylish in decor and our room very nice. We ate in the restaurant and food fabulous. We will definitely return.
