Really like the decoration style of the room and the room definitely looks bigger than mentioned on booking.com. All facilities in the room are very new. The staff at reception is very helpful. There are many interesting cities in Switzerland, in my opinion St Gallen is not one of them. We had a reason for going there, so we did, but it is not an attractive enough place for tourism, apart from the Abbey Library, really remarkable.
We liked the Van Gogh Café, and the café inside the Abbey precinct, but
everywhere else we ate, the food ranged from abysmal to not-more-than- acceptable, all at incredible prices.
We appreciated the vicinity to Lake Costanza

We like the visit of the old part of the town visiting Abbaye the St. Gall , the historical buildings. Visit to the textile musuem was interesting. We wish more restaurants were open on a Sunday night.

The hotel was modern and clean, near the city center and right next to the train station. The stay and breakfast were fine. Only parking was not included, we had to park outside the hotel with an extra charge.

Very beautiful medieval town.
Very beautiful medieval town. One of the five most impressive and libraries in the world. The city has plenty of activities to choose from. Easy to walk around, full of nice restaurants with good beer and good food. Nice train station from which one can go on a one-day Appenzell trip.
The hotel is located right next to the Olma Messen bus stops which have direct connections every 5 minutes during weekdays to St Gallen Bahnhof. It's also close to the Kantonsspital ( Cantonal Hospital ) , the largest hospital in the St Gallen Canton. The old town is easily reachable on foot.
Totally unexpected, was supposed to stay somewhere else but somehow landed here. The host is very friendly, the terrace is a big plus, from top you have the marvellous view of St. Gallen. The room was cosy and clean. For sure it’s value for money. I highly recommend it.
Very friendly and helpful host. We received free coffee, tea and 20% discount in the restaurant which is on the ground floor. The place is very cosy and clean. Perfect for a short stay in St. Gallen, in a reasonable distance from the town center.
Attention to detail was next level and Maria went the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable. The apartment is centrally located. Enjoyed our visit to St. Gallen.
