Conveniently close to the JR station and grocery stores. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Shower had good heat and pressure. We would stay again if we had the chance

Honestly one of the best place I have been at this price in the world! Feel luxury at a fair price! The lounge with massage chair, the cabin is comfy and it is 3min walk from a shrine and Fuji world center. Views of Fuji from down the street is amazing! If you are hesitant, just go!!!

Decent restaurants, affordable hotel with good breakfast.
Decent restaurants, affordable hotel with good breakfast. We ate big lunch at kura Sushi Fujinomiya, was good fun and orders delivered by conveyor although a struggle because of language even with our Tranlator app and some help from the ladies who speak no english. Don't be in a hurry. Loved Shiraito Falls, and on our morning visit it was not too overloaded and lots of great views and photos

Used as a base for trek up Mt Fuji.
Used as a base for trek up Mt Fuji. Hotel stored my gear (forwarded from the airport) until I arrived and has useful facilities such as laundry. Typically small Japanese hotel room. About 15 minutes walk from town centre on busy road - get a room at the back.

We were on a tight scheldule, ideally we would go for three nights but then the middle night would be staying half way up Mount Fuji. We stayed for two nights and went up to Mt. Hoei only which worked well for me and my back.

There are so much green open areas and trails, lakes, waterfalls, ranches, historic sites under the gentle gaze of Mount Fuji. Just gorgeous and less crowded. Getting around even with public buses are easy. Just follow the bus schedule for connecting buses.

It was a nice quiet town with the most amazing UNESCO Heritage Centre, well worth a visit. Because we were there in off season June, the weather was overcast and cloudy and we were unable to see Mt Fuji, but we did get a glimpse of it for about half an hour or so! We didn't realize this is usually the case during these months and the chances of seeing Mt Fuji are quite rare. Had some of the best noodles in Japan there. We went for a walk in the evening through the town and there was no one about, it was bliss... A lot of the bars and restaurants close on a Monday. Private bus tours only run at weekends from 11am to 2pm not during the week, which we didn't know till we got there, but we used public transport and that was fine. Local bus goes to the waterfall and are relatively frequent on a Sunday.( we missed private bus tour)

Loved the Fujisan Hongu Shrine and the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre nearby. Both are in walking distance of the train station. Had a nice lunch lunch at Fujiboku on the same street as the Shrine. The views of Mt. Fuji were extraordinary.

Every morning, we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast with a delicious variety of options. It was the perfect way to start our day!

The location was amazing, very close to the train station as well as only a walk down the road to the Mt fuji heritage centre (would highly recommend as gives you amazing views of fuji on clear days,
Also you can hire e-bikes from this location which is very good and high quality to ride around fujinomiya, this was a highlight
