The Sisi museum was good.
The Schonbrunn palace was exceptional & easy to get to on the metro.

Vienna is lovely. Not so easy to navigate though.
Vienna is lovely. Not so easy to navigate though. A map from the Hotel would have helped I loved the Sissi Museum. I enjoyed walking around the old town and dinner at my hotel. One night is not long enough to see much but I’ll be back again soon.

Vienna has the historic and cultural splendour of Paris, but like Barcelona is compact and easy to get around. Beautiful buildings and parks, impressive palaces and rich museums, lots of clasical concerts and wonderful cafes. The best places to eat are around the Opera, but the most vibrant ones are on and around the Graben.

Vienna is amazing city.
Vienna is amazing city. The whole town has this lovely feeling of elegance and vastness. There is so much to see and yet, it is real pleasure to jus wander around.
We loved the St. Stephan Church and the platz in front, the Schoenbrun palace and the zoo (you need full day only there), the Prater - both the park and the amusement part of it. the palaces, the Rathhaus and the Parliament.
The public transport is so easy to use. You need at least 4 full days in Vienna.

We have loved our yearly trips to Vienna for the past 20-some years, but the increasing masses of tourists, especially the large tour groups, are making it unpleasant now.
The art galleries and museums are fabulous, but getting Opera, Burg Theater or Volksoper tickets on short notice is increasingly difficult.

Albertina museum and gallery really worth a visit.
Albertina museum and gallery really worth a visit. Beautiful buildings and churches everywhere.
Enjoyed concert and dinner in Kursolan .
Lovely cafes
Tickets for concerts in churches/palaces expensive .
Would recommend a walking tour of old city to begin your time in Vienna to get your bearings and then choose where you want to explore .
Schobrunn Palace guided tour was very good but at times very crowded and fast moving
Very nice and comfortable little hotel on the outskirts of Vienna. The staff was very friendly and answered all the questions. The room was specious and clean. Parking can be found in the street (it's 5 euros per day). It's a great place to stay in if you come to Vienna by car but maybe not without cause the public transport might be a bit tricky ( a little over an hour with busses and trams/trains to the city centre).
The hotel was located in a very nice area of Vienna close to public transport to get into the city centre. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a fan in our room instead of an air conditioner (which we knew when we booked the room!) and it was great for the hot temperatures Vienna had when we stayed there! Would stay again.
Overall the apartment was really good . The price was great for what it offered and the staff of the hotel was really helpful. It was clean and tidy . The city centre was about a half-hour trip but easy to reach by tram and the stop was opposite the hotel so super easy. A great choice for a comfortable stay in Vienna .
The hotel is decorated immaculately - very modern yet comfortable at the same time. The room sizes were great for the city centre. Location was fantastic - close to the centre and the Vienna Opera House. Staff went over and above to help us celebrate a birthday in the group and to make the stay very memorable.
Good option for short stay in Vienna. Single room is pretty small but everything is in order and clean. Good location to the city centre and transport connections. Direct bus to the central railway station just opposite the hotel. Plenty of cafes, bars restaurants as well as shops around. Good value for money.
