Exceptional and luxurious apartment. We would have loved to stay longer. The owner welcomed us on arrival and it had everything and more for what we needed. The bedroom was large and the sitting room was so comfortable.

We had a warm welcome at the Landgasthaus Gruener Baum. The room was nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the valley. We stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant both evenings – the food was delicious! We would strongly recommend it for a stay in Simonswald.

The hotel was quite unusual - both good and bad. The room was spacious. The furnishings were of a high standard: bed linen; balcony chairs; bathroom cosmetics. The breakfast was good. About 15min walk to the centre of town. Nice view of Kandel.
Friendly host and great apartment! We only stayed for one night because we were passing through. But we would have loved to stay longer. The town of Waldkirch is very nice and perfect walking distance from the apartment.
Very comfortable hotel. Friendly if somewhat overworked staff - there weren't many of them but they were very obliging and the service was excellent.
