I was met in arrival by the owner. very friendly.
Location was great. right by the start of the town.
Enough equipment etc to cook meals for 6 people.
outside area is a bonus.
No private parking but on street was ample.

Actually we never went into the town of Waldkirch. The cottage is in Buchholz, a beautiful village. Just wish we had more time to explore the whole area. The local winery/cellar door Moosmann, in Buchholz is well worth a visit. The train services in the area are on time and frequent, which makes visiting other areas so easy. We visited Freiburg and did a day tour of the Black Forest from there.

nner in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was also very good with a variety of fruit, cheese and cold meats as well as different breads and cakes. Our triple room was extremely spacious.
Friendly host and great apartment! We only stayed for one night because we were passing through. But we would have loved to stay longer. The town of Waldkirch is very nice and perfect walking distance from the apartment.
Very friendly owners. Good food. Somewhat dated but perfectly nice and comfortable rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Quiet, apart from the little mountain stream passing next to the hotel and the many birds.
